Blythe can't stand gardening. She objectively understands that gardens look nice and manicured lawns give an appearance of elegance but god, flowers are so boring.
Daniel likes to grow plants primarily used in poisons and/or intoxication potions for ‘academic’ purposes and not at all because he has a profitable sideline making such things for rich wizarding students.

"Sometimes, I swear, I think I’m the only person I know who isn’t going to embark on a life of crime," he tells her as he steers her away from the bar and into an alley. One day he’s going to look back on this conversation and shake his head at the irony.

☾ - Jordan/Blythe ; ☆ - Allie ; ■ - Daniel
☾ - Jordan/Blythe: Reluctant cuddlers. Neither one of them want to admit to it, but they like have someone to hold onto at night, and even if they start on their respective sides of the bed, they always gravitate towards the middle.
☆ - Allie: Allie grew up in one of the most unabashedly happy families in the Deck. The DeWitts were practically a sitcom family, complete with slightly crazy dad and long-suffering sensible mom. He wouldn’t trade them for anything.
■ - Daniel: Daniel’s bedroom looks very typically boy. Lots of dark blues and grays and dark metal furniture, framed band posters, his bass and chemistry/potion sets. But it is a lot neater than most teenagers rooms, with his books lined up with military precision and the rug neatly vacuumed.
