Fuck, I love me that
"Cautionary tale of man leaning on his understanding of the world only to be proven (by his own logic) that he is a fool" books.
Gotta be one of my favorite genres.

How Would Your Favorite Author Fare as a DM?
I mean, CS Lewis and Tolkien are givens (Tolkien is a bit Long-winded for me). But, consider this-
A D&D Campaign made by Tolstoy?
The NPCs Pratchet would have come up with?
The kingdoms Douglas Addams would construct and the rulers he would have over it?
A fetch quest from Monty Python? (A SHRUBBERY!)
The battles and encounters of Sun Tsu.
Kiekergaard creating a mind-flayer Big Bad?
Plato's Questions and Riddles?
Danielwski's Mazes?
Please.

Write vicariously.
I would love to see what you imagine.
I don’t know if anyone was wondering this, or if its already common knowledge, but on page 479 of the book “House of Leaves”, the line of music is the tune “when johnny comes marching home”. It is in the treble clef, key of c presumably as it is not indicated otherwise, and is in 6/8 time. the notes are
e, eaaa-b, c-bc-a, a----e, a-----, (the dashes are held notes according to the note value.
It’s probably something a lot of people know, but in case you dont know, here it is. Just in case someone was curious and didnt feel like looking it up or something.
