Hello @biracy! I would have loved to take this to your messages, but it seems you only allow messages from blogs you follow… Strange, considering you loved my art of Winslow so much you posted it to pintrest with only the mildest suggestion of a credit (it almost seemed like you were crediting yourself). Strange…
I assume you are the one making these posts, considering they have *your* blog name in the title, and link to *your* POTP tag (Not everyone has a tumblr account, and if I remember correctly, tumblr only lets you look so far without an account).
There are people in the comments of your pinterest posts asking who the artist (me) is.
I am not particularly enthused by people posting my art uncredited, especially by those who did not find it within themselves to ask me first.
I am unfamiliar with pinterest, but I’m sure you can find a more intuitive to credit me (and any other artist you’ve reposted art from). Though, it is much more preferable to me that you delete your reposts of my art.

"Vicariousness refers to qualities or scenarios wherein one experiences another person's life, through imaginative or sympathetic participation." -Wikipedia
Vicarious connection or vicarious enjoyment is something I encounter again and again and I'm starting to see a pattern.
The first time I realized I'm vicariously connecting to someone was with my spouse's therapist. I was asked to be present for their first session, just to ease his anxiety. I listened and watched them talk, and couldn't quite understand why I felt excited, safe and a bit too happy that my spouse is "forming a connection" with someone else. I knew I wasn't happy for them in the traditional way, it was more like I experienced the exchange through them, and since it wasn't me who was talking to the therapist I could acctually feel something, I could safely experience connection. My brain had convinced itself that it was forming a connection with the therapist, even tho I hadn't spoken a word or engaged at all. I experienced connection through someone else, vicariously.
Another example of vicariousness is Let's Plays. In my schizoid experience I struggle to feel any kind of connection to or care for anything, even for animals or characters in a video game. My personal flavour of schizoid deems most forms of caring about something unsafe. That's where Let's Plays come in. I get to watch someone play a game and react to the characters and am able to enjoy it through them. I've recently attempted to play a game with a character I got attached to watching someone's Let's Play and I felt nothing while I was playing it myself. I watched another Let's Play of the same game a bit later and was able to connect with it once again. I can't emotionally experience a game, unless I'm experiencing it through someone else, vicariously.
This new insight now begs the question: What all can I enjoy vicariously that I can't enjoy regularly? What else can I do with this knowledge now? Could I hypothetically connect with myself by having someone watch a video of me?
