Nai is an absolute baby boy who tries to keep people out of trouble and to keep the blame off himself and feels awful for his own sexuality in a time when he cannot be accepted and Dan is the best boy who doesn't want Nai to blame himself and will protect him every chance he gets against the parts of the world he can because Dan and Nai both know too much about the parts of the world that can't be protected against.

Okay this show is too fucking good! The story setup, the atmosphere, the acting, even the special effects are surprisingly decent. Singto and Fluke are fantastic actors and I already enjoy Dan, Nai and Josh’s friendship and I think once the romance starts, Singto and Fluke will really sell it as Dan and Nai fall for one another. Can’t say much for romantic chemistry yet (obviously) but they are believable as friends and roommates that’s for sure. I love the sense that there’s ghosts and shadows all around them all the time and that not only Dan can see them/it, the fact that Nai has the gift of sight was not something I was expecting and I actually quite like it. It gives them someone to bond over, a reason to cling to each other as only each other will understand what they are going through. This is not your typical formulaic high school BL and I’m looking forward to see where this goes, bring on the spooky!!!!

Shadow final thoughts after I binged all of part 2:

- I feel like I actually have to rewatch the whole thing a few times to actually get all of the story!

- I loved it!! I was actually sitting on the edge of my seat for most of the show

- I get that it wasn't a bl kinda bl. And I don't mind. The plot was good enough and didn't really need romance. But I feel like the potential of fluke and singto as an on-screen couple was a teeny tiny bit wasted. Like no problem with the romance being a sub plot but I would've loved to actually see a bit of them in love but maybe that's just the hopeless romantic in me

- would still 10/10 recommend if you're into great acting, with an exciting plot and a bit of spooky vibes and angst/suspense

Soooooo I finished Shadow, and oh boy.

I had slight problems with plot coherence in the first part, but in the second... this series has more plot holes that Swiss cheese. And maybe I could live with that if the second part did not look like somebody took the editors, put them in tiny room, and give the an hour to cut half of the series. Like I feel there are hours of filmed material not used bc I refuse to belive that screenwriters wrote this series like that.

That being said I was kinda supries with brother Anurak story.

And the ending. I kinda got it right away, did not need the mirror reveal. But now we need second season.

Guys, if you haven't watched Singto and Fluke in Shadow yet, go do that!! I'm only on ep 2 and I'm already hooked!!!
