I think that part of what irks me about AI being used even for "small" stuff like meme graphics (aside from all the larger problems obviously) is like.... the time spent on it was part of the humor. "this is a silly inconsequential joke but I had to stop everything and spend 5 minutes making it" was, at least for me, part of the joke. Someone really took time out of their day to make me look at something silly they took time out of their day to make. Now it's like someone took time out of my day to make me look at something no one even made. Stop wasting my time if you aren't wasting yours too.

also publishers currently have fairly outrageous policies wrt e-books and audiobooks sold to libraries, where they aren't in fact sold but temporarily licensed, and 'wear out' after a certain number of borrows or certain span of time, and have to be 'bought' again. and they cost vastly more to libraries than individual consumers are charged for the same thing.

so if you're getting the libby version of a book, odds are actually pretty decent this translates, indirectly, into the author getting paid again later.

...at least if you're one of a crowd. if it's just you then probably not, but if it's just you the author already got more royalties from the marked-up library price than if you'd bought it yourself, so eh.

Sun's reaction to Kajorn getting grabbed by the collar!! It was giving "the fuck you think you are to touch my dad like that!"

I don't know if it's just me but watching Sun be so sexually liberated in that scene with Jay made me emo. This man has fully come to terms with how his life had no purpose anymore he didn't have anything or anyone to live for. Other than his revenge which when you get that what do you still have?

So watching him come full circle coming to terms with how although what he went through felt like a world ending stance for the longest time. It was because he chose to keep living he was able to still meet some really beautiful people who genuinely care for him and empathetically feel for him (sky kajorn jo).

"If it's someone who can feel love even for just a little then you have the right to have the reason to live" as he runs right into Jay's arms like that was everything! These two people lost very important people in their life and yet they're still here. They have found each other and then and now.

Watching him also come to the realization that it was Jay then the same person he cried into the arms of the same person who didn't even ask him why he was crying he just held him. The same person who is now helping him while he has gone through his own tragedy and is still trying to rectify everything himself for his own purpose in life.

The fact that these very two people who have face such horrible tragedies at the expense of other people's actions. Were able to not only confide in each other but feel liberated with each other. It all just felt so right and they both really were naked in the sense of not just their bodies! but everything was on display the feelings the pent-up emotions that sun has been concealing because he felt like he didn't deserve to feel anything. It was all just so beautiful and the tear that came out of him!

And it makes sun not remembering the first time they had sex even more devastating when we already know how that was more of a self-deprecation for him at that time. And so it only makes sense that it's not a memory that he wants to remember if anything that he would push to the back of his mind. While for Jay at that time he couldn't get that person out of his mind that person who he had let cry into his arms that night. And after he figured out this is the same person who even now years later. Is completely stoic and has what seems a Stony heart. He just needed a push he needed someone to call him out on his unavailability to feel anything and to make him really question his life and how he wants to live it truly going forward. And watching Jay helped sun get to that was also very euphoric! Such a beautiful scene toptap and minlee deserve all the flowers!!!!!!
