When before his FF'S RUN, for the entire Marvel history he was an OMEGA MUTANT ( also in Hickmann'run it said it ! Check Fantastic Four issue 605) . He was in Generation X, Onslaush saga or other similar magazines and always address as a MUTANT. God!Reed designed first HERBIE to control his mutant powers and then the Codex in the ultimate crossover Xmen vs Fantastic Four, to stop Franklin to go to Krakoa! So this special was not relevant? I don't understand sincerely this change. I mean having Franklin as a Mutant ,( as showed in Xmen vs Fantastic Four) would be an opportunity to discuss this topic in a family of superheroes.

They are not like other families , but seems that both Reed and Susan not encouraging Franklin to use his powers , because they view them as a problem it's a lot interesting.

Like now is depowered, they both saying to him that it's not important to have powers, not giving him a solution. Literally Infected Val in issue 30 yelled at him that he's useless and helpless because he has no powers anymore! Like ruining a character who literally saved the Marvel Universe and his heroes when he was five years old!

In a rut, so I started writing a make believe Batman Family story taking place right before Dick Grayson stops being Batman and the ever so crappy New 52. I watched a video where @dan.slott was taking about how he has these files of every story he’s ever wanted to write in comics whether it be Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, Iron Man etc. And then when he gets the chance to write those he pulls out those files and goes to town. Not saying I’d ever in a million years get to write Batman (especially the way is want to), but it’s a fun little exercise that is helping me flex the old writing muscles.
