Okay so I am having a giant-ass problem replying to this bc I'm in the middle of reworking some of the lore 😭

I think I'm settling on us meeting through Mari. She and I are so entangled at this point that she's inserting herself into not just my daily life but my selfships too, but how she got into the kn8 world you'll have to ask her...

Anyway, Mari is a medic in Hoshina's platoon (this is before he became vice-captain!) And I'm a scientist who's participating in a work exchange between the nations with some of the highest levels of kaiju emergence. We're hoping to share some knowledge between us so we can hopefully defeat kaiju easier (does this make any sense? I don't know). I happen to have been placed at the science department at the Tachikawa base. Is there a science department at the Tachikawa base? There is NOW!

How Mari and I met I'm not entirely sure about yet. Maybe the women's baths or something, she realized that I'm also a foreigner and we kinda hit it off just like we did irl.

At some point I mention something about Hoshina being cute and Mari decides to play cupid and get us together, even if it can only be a temporary thing since I'm going back home in x amount of months.

So... yeah. It still needs some ironing out but that's the basics... Thank you so, so much for asking me this!! I really appreciate it! 💖💖💖

Their name is Danyl and he is probably not going to appear in Lost In Transit despite existing almost as long as Aubrey and everyone else. originally they were one of the kids who escaped w/ Aubrey but I think now he’s just gonna be a memory wipe victim who’s not doing great and gets adopted into Transitfam post-plot in the future at some point

Hurt and comfort snippet

Characters: Florella, Nicolas, Alexie, Danyl, & Henry. All are my ocs. This be for @uhohnoodle for giving me the prompt for today! Tw: mention of burning someone, not exactly the most proper medical fix up description, cursing, blood mention, slight abusive description

Florella wasn't sure what to expect when she came back home that evening. The house being in the way it was certainly wasn't. Blood splattered in various places. Multiple holes and broken furniture. She stood frozen in the doorway. It was like a bull ran through their home. "Hello?" She called out. Perhaps one of the boys would come to the door?

Danyl appeared not long after she had called out, breathless. "H-hey...they got out." He voice sounded shakey. Nicolas must've been pissed then.

"Who did? Whoever you guys had this time?" Danyl nodded, hands resting on his knees.

"Where's Nicolas?"

Danyl pointed out the door. "He went with Henry. Alexei he-" he was cut off by a deep pained groan. "Shit," he hissed making his way back to one of the bedrooms. "Man what did I say about trying to get up!" Florella followed behind him, worried.

The smell of blood filled her sense when she saw him. Alexei laid back on the bed, large hand covering his side. Poorly wrapped bandages covered his face, arms, and legs. She raced over to his side, cupping his cheek. "Oh cucciolo...did they do this to you?" Her voice softened as her heartstrings tugged tight in her throat. She only received a small nod.

Despite Alexies large size and intimidating face, his eyes held nothing but gentleness and worry. Danyl bit his lip. "Need me to grab the bigger first aid kit?"

Florella nodded. "Yeah the look of some of these I'm going to need to close up myself." Alexie whimpered quietly. He always hated that part. She shushed him as Danyl left to get the kit. "You'll be okay. I'm here with you. You know I never hurt you on purpose." She kissed his forehead. He closed his eyes ans tried to even his breathing.

She hummed to him while Danyl came back and began setting things up for Florella. She had to learn so much for them to ensure her boys were safe. Even though it pained her to have to learn how to do these things. Danyl helped her sit him up as she began to work on the various cuts and bruises that littered his body. Whoever got out sure did have a lot of confidence in themselves or didn't give Alexie a fair fight.

Danyl would listen to her intently, not speaking due to knowing her humming is what was keeping Alexie from swinging at eaither of them as she began to stitch close deeper cuts. He had to admit though, it was kinda calming him down as well. When he realized too late the victim leaving the house, Nicolas had been furious at the fact he couldn't stop them in time. His cheek still throbbed in pain from the hit he had received.

She would place small kissed along the bandages. Danyl couldnt help but laugh to himself. She had claimed that kissed on wounds would help them heal faster. Alexie ate that shit up since then, always going to her for those magic kisses.

Eventually they finished and heard Henry and Nicolas coming towards the back room. "He 'ight?" Henry asked. Florella nodded. Both men looked sweaty and tired. Whoever this person was sure did put up a good fight.

"Did you boys get them?" She asked, nervousness settling in her gut. Nicolas nodded. "Burned that fucker alive for thinking they could get past me."

Florella frowned. Yup it had been a bad day for them. She got up and moved past the men in the room, giving each one a kiss on their foreheads as she did. "Well if you guys want to help, those who can, clean up the living room I think a small movie night and large cuddle pile is in order. Though be careful with Alexie I did have to sew him back up." Henry and Danyl grinned and followed behind. Nicolas stood there and watched before turning his attention to Alexie. "God you got fucked up from that fucker." He said shaking his head as he went over to help Alexie get to the living room.
