小时候的Michael是金发,为什么长大后变成棕色头发了呢?
小Michael很可爱,肉乎乎的,长大后也应该很好看。当然无论他长什么样ghostface 都会fall in love的。

Slashers as tiktoks I have saved on my phone part 2:
it kind of irks me when people, either slasher fans or people who are just familiar with the image of the slasher in pop culture, graft those traditional tropes onto the TCM movies without realizing that TCM was made in a time when these story elements did not yet exist. i see this a lot with the way that people talk about pam. we have the expectation from years of slasher tropes that there has to be a bimbo friend, and that she's usually the one that dies first. that results in a lot of people calling pam a hoe because she's wearing skimpy clothes despite the fact that she, at 21, is the youngest out of the group, is the most suspicious of nubbins and drayton, and was deliberately framed by tobe hooper and terri mcminn to be the most innocent of them all, and that is a big part of why her death is so upsetting. leatherface is obv an iconic character but if you come at TCM with an idea baked in your head of what a slasher is supposed to be you're going to be disappointed by how little screentime he actually has and how little interaction he has with sally compared to other killers and final girls. TCM1 is an emotionally violent movie, not a physically violent one, and the person who inflicts most of that is not bubba. it's nubbins. this creates this giant gap between the fandom perception of TCM and the movie itself, and at worst an idea that what you want and what you expect is the same as what is. if you love something because of the tropes you're missing out on a lot of what the actual piece of media has to offer.
Love these little cross promotion gems.
with millie shapiro making this video about her experience playing charlie graham in hereditary, i think now is the perfect time to ask what the fuck ari aster was thinking by using people with facial deformities for shock value in both of his films
i have yet to see anyone else openly criticize aster's decision in hereditary/midsommar to use facial disfigurement in a macabre way. and the fact that it happened not once, but twice is deeply disturbing and sets the horror genre back a million years
ive been trying to put this in the right words for a few months now, and was hoping someone else would be able to say it more eloquently than me, but after shapiro made that tiktok i couldn't stay quiet
if you are going to reblog this, choose your words wisely and try and think, what really made these movies scary to you? and if your answer is anything along the lines of millie shapiro's appearance, i suggest you keep your mouth shut
if u consider yourself a horror fan you like NEED to be aware and educated on the ableism thats been put at the heart of so much horror. like... is that character actually scary or do they just have a limp/scars/disfigurement that real normal people have irl and have to see depicted as horrifying and dehumanizing? if you think any of those things or things like it are scary in ANY context you need to step away from the horror genre and familiarize yourself with the fact that people can and do look like that and they do not deserve to be an object of fear
Unfriendly reminder I do not want the q slur near this blog. I will not apologize for my triggers. Respect those with ptsd and those who are simply uncomfortable with the word or get blocked. Don’t be ableist and call people terfs for triggers. Blame those who made that a trigger for them.
