One of the things I love most about this clip was that they still used the same bit from the OG where Vilde asked Isak about the rumour of him being gay, but they made it completely their own.

They’d created this friendship between Lucas and the girls, especially with Daphne, that was never there in the original and it changed the entire dynamic of that scene. For one thing Daphne didn’t ask him through text; she sought him out and asked him herself, allowing Lucas something Isak never got: a chance to read the situation and interpret how Daphne might react to whichever answer he would give. And being able to see and experience her reaction (on top of Arthur and Basille’s) after the week he’s had and all the negativity (and ambiguity) he’d received from Chloe and Yann. It must have been a weight off his shoulders.

The character development of Daphne Lacomte is absolutely second to none and I love her.
