Double-breasted overcoat in heavy wool by Darbel, a Paris-based brand that no longer exists (any information welcome). Bequeathed by my grand-father, the coat is probably from the mid-1960s. The fabric is from Italy. Martingale, slit back, turned-up cuffs, excellent finishings and the sturdiest thickness to brave cold, rain or snow— feels like a suit of armour!
Here with Boggi flannel tie, Crambes hat, Omega carpincho and lamb gloves (from Zampa di Gallina) and Clotilde Ranno shirt (Sea Island Canclini fabric).
