i'm sorry but the one thing that stops me from calling marvel's daredevil a great, perfect show is the way they wrote frank versus elektra in s2. they framed it in a way where people have sympathy for frank right away but elektra is reduced to her relationship/past with matt and the audience was never given a chance to humanize her and think of her as a victim and abused character like frank. christ, they waited until defenders to give us flashbacks of her childhood abuse/trauma which only made people a little sympathetic in the end, but there was so much more they could've done. female characters will always be written with less care than male characters.
