White Diamond is a Dying Star

here are some of my Dark Amethyst Prophecies that you should ignore tbh  

Haven't You Noticed (That I’m A Star?) 

Someone is a star, and Dark Amethyst is telling me that White Diamond is a star and the song is about her.

This goes off of the “white diamond is mind controlling gems” theory, plus when Pearl said that WD is different from the other diamonds.

Ppl have already started theorizing about this because of how White Pearl looks like she should have been Pink Diamonds Pearl and is all robotic and creepy. Here are some parts of the song that could support the idea. 

- “I’ve got a pair of eyes that they’re getting lost in” 

-”They’re hypnotized by the way I’m walking” 

-”Now everyone can see me burning.” 

Now if White Diamond is a Star/Part Star, and the audience is supposed to see her as the overbearing mother figure to Pink Diamond, it makes a little more sense as to why she called Steven/PD “starlight.” Steven and Rose also have stars in their eyes when they’re excited, which may not be a huge thing until you remember that the other diamonds have literal diamonds in their eyes. (Again, could just be coincidence.) 

Also, in Rising Tides Crashing Skies, Ronaldo mentions something about mind controlling chemicals in the water, which could be a Red Herring like his other predictions ( human zoo, diamond authority, etc..) or nothing really. 

Now: Consider another song, this one from “Last one out of Beach City”

The song is “Like a Star,” and here are some interesting lyrics that could support the idea that WD is not only a Star, but a dying star.

- “I was slow to begin, but I’m ready to fade.”

-” And I see black, while you see white” ( Steven/PD has white stars in eyes while WD has black pupils? This one is a stretch I'll admit) 

-” I’m like a star, I’m burning out fast” (Now everyone can see me burning)

-” But in the morning, I'll be gone.” 

There’s also another song in the episode that has one lyric about stars crashing to the ground. 

Also consider: some Stars can get bigger and brighter as they age, and White Diamond is gigantic ball of light.
