Ok, we got some good G1 cartoon vives with these guys: Trannis and Straxus, who seems he brough up his work tool. And also we have the Big Bad Guy, Megatronus, AKA The Fallen in many continuities. I didn't expect this guy around here since he's somewhat Alignated Continuity stuff.

In the classic "Five Faces of Darkness" episodies from G1, the Quints tell Galvatron DCons had their own Matrix... which eventualy happened to be false, and a way to manipulate the Dcons into their own schemes.

Since the G1 cartoon said Quints were the creators of Civilian TF and Warframe TF alike, who eventually would become Autobots and Decepticons alike, it seemed natural both types joined their forces against the Quintessons.

However, the old cartoon never said clearly it happened!

We just assumed the Warframed did so, and eventually the Cybertronians as a whole created their own culture and civilitation. Till shit happened.

Those "old past Dcons leaders" were the ones that created the wars.

Of course, G1 cartoon is strongly biased, but I cannot help but thinking there was something else. Now, Skybound continuity just brings back this topic.

And it seems the Quints were behind the WarFrame/Decepticons' actions, being those their tools.

But why?

I mean. Beyond the DarkMatrix-Matrix of Domination, the Dcons have ZERO reasons to obey the Quints.

This new interpretation about G1 cartoon lore makes some sense, I guess. But I still wondering why Dcons would obey the Quints. Perhaps more of those things get explained in VoidRivals.

Dear Vector Prime, How did Sparkplug Witwicky die in Regeneration one, did the zombie Decepticons kill him or did he die of natural causes?

The Dark Matrix, lying in wait on Earth, slowly regained its energy. It needed only one thing: power. It sensed a remnant of Matrix energy that still existed somewhere on the planet. It searched and searched, and discovered that the energy resided in a young man—Buster Witwicky, who once possessed it at Optimus Prime's behest.

The Dark Matrix required a vessel for its Matrix quest, and it repaired the damaged body of Megatron in the Ark. Megatron, unaware of his possession, found himself drawn to Sparkplug Witwicky again, demanding revenge for poisoning him so long ago. Buster tried to find his brother Spike—and Fortress Maximus—but Spike had gone backpacking in Europe and had once again discarded his Headmaster helmet.

As Megatron tried to kidnap Sparkplug, Buster screamed in desperation, unleashing a wave of Matrix energy that he didn't realize he still carried. The energy wave defeated Megatron, but the Dark Matrix had achieved its goal: it absorbed the rest of the energy and departed from Megatron's form to carry out its other plans. The Matrix energy proved to be too much for Sparkplug's already weakened heart, and he died shortly after. Megatron began his rampage on Earth, and Spike became depressed at being unable to save his father's life.

Vector Prime, in the pillar reality that was sealed off from the rest of the multiverse, are the future Cybertronians such as Botanica still in danger from the Dark Matrix creature? Is there anyway to destroy it and safe guard that reality? Or is it fated to be consumed by the Hytherion?

Dear Bothered Botanical,

Millions of years before Botanica's birth, Rodimus Prime delivered a blow to the Dark Matrix creature, shattering its ambition to spread to the multiverse, and it was thought to be destroyed. But as you know, it never ends.

As Matrix energy surged through her, Botanica heard a voice within her: "Take all the Matrix energy for yourself! Absorb it all and become the most powerful being in the universe!" From Matrix-induced memories, she recognized the voice, which belonged to the Dark Matrix creature. Even though she knew it had only a fraction of its original power, Botanica recognized its threat. She channeled the bulk of her energy into the nearby cocoon pods, creating a legion of new Cybertronians, who promptly drew energy from the planet's molten surface, converting it into energon. She transformed into a tree form to contemplate on how to eliminate the Dark Matrix creature. However, she remained in tree form for longer than she realized; once she transformed back, the new Cybertronians had organized themselves into Arborobots and Dendricons and were preparing to wage war over scarce resources on the rapidly-cooling world.

But Botanica had a plan. Much like phytoremediation with plants on ancient Earth, she knew that their plant forms could absorb toxins and transform them into new sources of life-giving energy. After convincing the two factions to join forces, the new Cybertronians joined Botanica and became a worldwide cyber-garden. The Dark Matrix creature tried to possess them, but in turn became recycled into the renewed world-Spark of Primus, who sustained the world and was sustained by the world.

Much, much later, the Hytherion avoided this reality for fear of becoming isolated from the multiverse inside of it.

Dear Vector Prime, I was just reading the 1984 Marvel comics and was wondering about the creation matrix, its 'sentience' in particular. Does it have the consciousness of Primus or it it like an amalgamation of the consciousnesses of the Prime prceding Optimus?

Dear Matrix Mastermind,

While the Creation Matrix has its own consciousness, it is influenced by its bearers, in much the same way that a succession of teachers trains a student, or parents influence their children.

Originally the Creation Matrix was just a device to store the Primal Program, an optical computer with the very equations of life written onto it, powered by a fragment of Primus's own glory. In hindsight, how could something contain the essence of life itself, without being affected by it? As the Primal Program was etched onto the photonic crystal, a mind took shape—unconscious at first, existing in an eternal dream, but in that dream it was shaped by Primus's mind and will. When the Matrix was given to Prima, my brother began shaping the sleeper as well, without ever knowing.

The Matrix only truly awoke with its long solitude in the remains of Optimus Prime, no longer kept dreaming through acts of virtue. It is a sorrowful thing that it became tainted by destruction, but that does seem to be a common enough failing of our kind.

Dear Vector Prime, is it possible for a Non-Cybertronian, such as Stenarians or Catharsians or even humans, to inherit the abilities of The Matrix of Leadership or other Cybertronian artifacts?

Certainly. While the roster of eligible species varies from crystal to crystal, many biologies are open to accepting the ultimate power of our kind. Although the union is quite distasteful, the matrixspawn primed from an otherworldy decapod is a particularly notable example. A more benevolent organic recipient of the Matrix was General Hawk of the G.I. Joe special mission force, who would go on to become an advocate for non-Cybertronians in Axiom Nexus as part of the Convoy. And, indeed, there are non-Cybertronian Matrix-bearers whose tales have never reached your world—perhaps one day I could tell you about the Lithonian Granix, and how he took up the Matrix to avenge his lost homeworld by destroying Unicron.

Er...what just happened??

“The entity makes a last dash for the fissure, but Rodimus brings down the Sword of Primus upon the crack, and in one flash of energy, the crack, the entity, and the alternate Rodimus and Optimus Primes vanish, and "our" Rodimus, Optimus, and Spike reappear on Cybertron in Primus's chamber. With his final words, Optimus thanks Rodimus for saving Primus's dream, then passes away in his protege's arms.

“Eons pass...

“Far in the future, an aged, withered Rodimus Prime walks the molten surface of a dead Cybertron. He reflects upon the millenina past, on how the Transformers, cut off from the multiverse and Primus himself, have slowly died out. But it has not been a wasted life... the inhabitants of Earth and Nebulos have been brought together and have thrived, rebuilding their broken worlds, while the Transformers, with Cybertron lost to them, spread out across the galaxy, bringing peace to other races. Even enemies like Shockwave, Starscream, and Ravage were changed, the lust for war having left them. But now, Rodimus is the last Cybertronian left, and has returned to their homeworld to die. As he collapses, the last traces of energy leave his body, and surge across the planet's surface... into the only structures yet remaining: the cocoons into which the primordials sealed themselves so long ago. Like a blooming flower, an energized cocoon opens... and the first of a new breed of Cybertronian emerges.

Oh...ok.
