Rapunzel, the Eclipse Witch
Once upon a time, a lost princess was kept locked in a tower by an evil witch. On her eighteenth birthday, she met a charming thief, and they would have lived happily ever after… But in a grim twist of fate, Mother Gothel fatally stabs Eugene in his heart, forcing Rapunzel to watch the love of her life die before her eyes.
Afterward, Gothel took a brokenhearted Rapunzel far away from Corona. Where no one would ever find her again.
In the following years, Gothel kept her flower locked in a new prison, one that came with bars and chains, using her healing hair to stay young forever.
Locked in isolation, and haunted by ghoulish visions of Eugene, Rapunzel slowly descended into madness, all of her hopes and dreams withered away. Leaving her with nothing but misery.
Over time, black streaks appeared in her hair.
One night, in her dream, Rapunzel found herself standing in a barren field with the full moon shining above her. Suddenly, a sharp black rock grew from the ground in front of her... beckoning her closer… Rapunzel slowly reached out... and then she was blinded by a bright explosion.
When she awoke, Rapunzel found her prison destroyed by dozens of black rocks, with Gothel nowhere in sight.
Far off in the distance, Rapunzel spotted the dim glow of the floating lanterns, guiding her home.
Free from her chains, Rapunzel eagerly made her way back to Corona. At long last, she would be reunited with her true family, and live happily ever after.
However, upon arriving at the kingdom, Rapunzel found that lanterns were not meant for her this year. In her absence, the King and Queen had a new daughter: Princess Liliana, and were celebrating her birthday with a lantern festival.
Any sign of the lost princess was gone as Corona celebrated their new princess.
Everyone had forgotten about her.
Everyone had moved on without her.
Everyone was living happily without her.
That night, darkness awoke in Rapunzel as the last remaining streaks of blonde hair turned midnight black, her kind green eyes became a cold icy blue, and a crown of black rocks rested atop of her head.
Fueled by the magic of the moon, Rapunzel stormed into Corona to spread her darkness, livestock and plants withered away, homes were destroyed by black rocks, and every ray of light was smothered by darkness.
At the end of her reign. Rapunzel sang a new incantation - wither and decay - to steal the lives of the King and Queen.
Stories began to spread about the witch that killed the King and Queen, and the darkness that continued to spread throughout the seven kingdoms. As for the young princess, no one was ever sure of her fate.
In the wake of her attack, Rapunzel took her new little sister somewhere safe, warm, and cozy. A new tower where the darkness of the world could not reach her.
Our story ends as it began; with a lost princess locked away in a tower by an evil witch.

Was it a bit of a cop-out using a Rapunzel base for this? Maybe. Do I care? Yes. But this project has been a gigantic pain even though it probably shouldn’t have been, so that makes up for it I guess. But yeah I’m actually so happy this is finally complete because honestly I was getting so sick of it. There’s still 101 mistakes that need correcting but I’m done with it for now
