Welcome to my little wonderland!♥ My name is Inle, and I draw & write. Back at the beginning of 2019, I joined the Tangled: The Series fandom and created my own Original Character, Lashanie von Humboldt, to let her become part of the wonderous universe of Tangled and its spectacular adventures. As I developed my OC further, I began to think up an entire story focusing on her and Varian called Through the Storm. On this blog, you can find the art I create for Through the Storm and AUs of it. 🩵 Colors 💚

A silly idea I had for them for a while. They're just two dorks, finding the silliest ways to pass time ❤︎⁠ c:

I tried to distinguish the stuff they doodled some, with Lashanie drawing plants &butterflies &dragonflies, while Varian's drawings feature stars &planets &swirls (since he loves to watch the night sky in my fic). Also, Varian drew a sun on Lashie's hand, so she gave him a moon. 𖤓☽ . . . not sure if I'm completely happy with the coloring, though ówo

+the inspiration for the pose came from a photo of two girls with one applying the make-up for the other. <3

Have I asked before what are Samantha's favorite colors and what are her favorite flowers?

I don't fully remember, tbh; but I don't think so. So, Imma just answer. :)

Even though Samantha often wears shades of green, her favorite color is petrol. (because it reminds her of the sea &even as she grows up, she always stays a little pirate at heart ♡)

Her favorite flowers ... hmm. I haven't thought about it before, but perhaps Bindwind? She also like the hedge version, but prefers Sea Bindwind.

Has Varian ever reminded you of Hiro from Big Hero 6?

He has!I mean, I've never been into BH6 enough that I made any sort of immediate connection, but I've seen people talk about it, and I absolutely see what they're getting at:

Super genius kid

Wants to make the world a better place

Loses the closest person in their life

Goes into a fit of depression/revenge

Ultimately decides that revenge isn't the answer

It's not a perfect parallel, but there are definitely similarities.

Please accept this as my humble contribution to Cassandra Appreciation Month.

Despite the nasty behavior that prompted it, it's nice to see the fandom stand together &I too wanted to do something nice for everyone &above all for you Cass fans.𖹭

When I started this drawing, I knew I wanted to draw a dynamic pose fitting for her character &her finale outfit as we saw so little of it. I actually had no idea what to do for the background at first &I struggled like crazy with her sword. But, in all honesty, I am pretty proud of how it came out. >:3

for rapunzel, i was trying to go for a "floating lanterns at night" look on her tail, but im not quite sure if i conveyed that properly. eugene's a tiger shark because cass calls him tiger, and cass is a mako shark because it felt right for her c:

realized i havent shared this one here yet :> a wip from 2023 that i finally brushed up and finished a couple months ago. really happy with the outcome <3 the original idea was lupines, but i decided to make them forget-me-nots with @o0whiterabbit0o's fic in mind instead, since in her story those flowers are important to varian :) it ended up being a lot easier to draw, too, loL

1. How have you been?☺️

2. Since Lashanie is connected to the nature spirit Revon, does she sense it when something in nature changes? (Trees getting cut down, species of animals going extinct, etc)

3. I know Lashanie has an older brother. Do you think you can describe what he would look like or what his personality is like?

1. I have been well until yesterday; now I'm dealing with a cold =w= but thanks for asking𖹭

2. Yes, she does sense major changes. Though what she feels is more of a shift in the energies surrounding her. If in direct touch with a creature or a plant, she can 'see' their energy and, with practice, even influence it. <-that's also how she's able to help wounds heal faster.

3. Oh, I really need to draw Leopold soon, I think. c: I plan to make him blonde (since he &Lashie are kin on Ludwig's side) &am considering putting some black strands into his hair. His eyes are a similar color to Lashie's, so they're chatreuse. He is slim &rather wiry. Personality-wise, Leo has little in common with his sister. His youth was rough after his mother's demise &made him someone who hardly trusts anyone. He is reckless &for a long time driven by his resentment for his father. When he first meets Lashanie, he actually feels nothing for her. But he finds glee in provoking Varian. +his weapon of choice is a cutlass
