I'm writing a fanfic about if Sun had taken Dark Sun's deal and went with him to the sancutuary!

And yes, it is a ship...

Little sneak peak of it:

Sun hated Dark Sun, and he had a good reason to. He had corrupted his baby brother into a monster who only wants to harm, to gain. But no matter how Sun felt about Dark Sun, he still felt… relatable.

Dark Sun was just another Sun who took a different path than Sun. A few different choices and Sun would’ve ended up like him, or he would’ve ended up like Sun. It was a problem that Sun had. He was always too remorseful, too empathetic, that he’d see himself and other Sun’s as one instead of separate.

Sun stared at Dark Sun’s outstretched hand, an offering of peace from his chaotic and misjudging family. Would it be best for him and Dazzle? To take such an offer, and nonetheless an offer that only exists because Sun had to kill his own brother?

It was a tough decision, and decisions were things that Sun wasn’t good at. Moon always made decisions, he never asked for Sun’s opinion or his consent. Moon was only recently trying to include him in making decisions. But the thing is, this wouldn’t just affect Sun, but his dear daughter, Dazzle.

He couldn’t endanger her. But he could be endangering her by staying here, with the animatronics he called “family” despite their constant bickering and fighting. Sun didn’t trust Dark Sun fully, especially with Dazzle’s safety on the line…

But maybe, just maybe, this would be best for her. Sun took Dark Sun’s hand, grasping it as if it was a life line. Dark Sun smiled slightly, his usually gruff face softening like butter. (The professional way, totally not in the microwave.)
