Another rant about not being okay

I hoped for something

It seemed it was always there

So near, yet so far

No matter far i reached

Yet I was never even close

Our distance was an illusion

What i thought was within my grasp

Was so far all along

I'm slowly losing hope

For the thing that i hoped for

I'm slowly dying inside

Cause i can't believe

That i'll be alright anymore

The darkest thoughts won't visit you in the most painful moments. They whisper in your ear when you're happy. Climb inside your mind and damage your sanity, just when you feel normal for the first time. They whisper: Sweet, little poor thing, there will never be someone. You're not enough, don't you understand? Everything you tell the world is another lie to disguise who you are, isn't it? Never. You will never be what you could be. You're to weak for that, am I right?

And you are so dumb, so paralyzed, so stupid, stupid, stupid to listen to every word. Always. Everyday you feel yourself becoming what these thoughts tell you. But you never really see it.

You know that you fought too many battles to give up here.

This, you promise yourself, won't be the last one.
