This piece is meant to connect us with our most charismatic and powerful selves. The dark unicorn in my work represents a creature totally confident in being their own unique self, and as such, others tend to be drawn to their charisma. They are a guiding light to those in need, full of compassion even toward those who treat them poorly, yet they are not subservient and weak. They balance kindness, compassion and power. People like this are looked to for guidance, and are renowned for their power and wisdom. They are true influencers. For many people, those qualities may seem distant and unobtainable, but I believe all of us have this kind of charisma within. To find it, we must learn to balance a mixture of love, self empowerment, and a vision that others will want to relate to. It begins with self acceptance, and acceptance for others. A recognition not only of your own potential, but of the potential in others as well. We all genuinely have so much more to give than we have probably been lead to believe and I want this piece to empower others and help them recognize the queens, kings, and leaders they hold within.
