#darning egg

I darned a sock, using a darning egg, some fine yarn, and whatever kind of sewing needle it was. The pretty egg is off etsy and I take no credit whatsoever for how pretty it is. I fastened it under the egg with a velcro strap that must have come with a laptop power cord.

This is my very full darning basket in all its glory: tennis ball included, of course.

The jar is random embroidery floss remnants for use in darning and the denim pouch (jouch) is my hand sewing kit with all my accoutrements. I don't know if I can empty this basket this month but I'd at least like to make a large dent.

So I bought a speed weaving loom

I wasn’t planning on doing that at all but impulsive thoughts won and yeah

I do recommend it

I got this one, it’s pretty good quality especially considering it’s price

But yeah, it’s efficient and effective. Comes with everything but scissors and wax

Unfortunately, I don’t think it would work well for someone with a hand related disability (it might be difficult to use if you have arthritis or something like it) just to be honest on that point though
