Growing up in a all woman house where your aunts are a complete dick to you is not for the weak, especially for Stefan
Often he try ignoring or hiding the pain he feels from them so at least so his mother (Nicola, or nicole, I don't remember the name I put, it were something with a Nicol-) won't feel sad to her son suffering
But what Stefan experienced were more than just bullying and emotional abuse, a drug abuse.
Yep, you heard it, ever since Stefan were in his fresh and middle 20s, that's something he faced
One of his aunt is works as a Pharmacist where she brings many painkillers and such either for the family or an order to prepare for a patient
But she's not the one that started the abuse, the one that gave the idea of this risky abuse to the bad ones was an aunt that was suicided long time ago, and also she almost took Stefan with him at 20 by an accident
Let's all this aunt "T", T were an addict who often goes numb and soft whenever she takes her painkillers, she lived there so no one could let her overdose, but as much as she were soft, she were already never realized the risk she got Stefan into
After another abuse, Stefan crying in his room, happens to be the same time T walks by his door, seeing her uncle, and also being a lot high on painkillers, she believed giving Stefan some were not an issue, she gently handed him a box and the brand, Stefan being helpless and young already, taking some, feeling calmer and actually better, he start using the painkillers as well
For many months, Stefan secretly used painkillers like tic-tacs, some days he takes 1 or 2, or some days he goes far and takes 6, just to feel better and away from all the issues
İt started to give him issues, headaches, mood swings, etc, a year later, T passed away, overdosed one night in her room, the aunts were supposed to get rid of all her drugs and pills that left behind, but they kept it hidden in the garage instead
Not wanting to spend cash that he lie to his mother to get, Stefan decided to start sneaking in there to get more, till one day, a huge heated argument hit between an aunt and Stefan
It was so heated Stefan locked himself in the garage crying, all helpless and too hurt, he digged into the box the pills at while the aunts banged on the garage door, also at the time Nicole came home, all confused she gently found a way to open the garage door, only to find her son on the ground, due to the overstress, Stefan had took at least 4 full boxes of painkillers, in a panic they called an ambulance and get to the hospital
Stefan lived by pure luck, any hour late and he could be meeting T
Ever since then, he started being afraid of painkillers, but here's a bad part, he got addicted to them.
And even to this day, he sometimes takes some, only now only 1 or 2 once a month after therapy
Ever since that incident, no pills left in the house, Nicole makes sure no one lefts any pill on open, but one aunt realized something, when Stefan got hurt, his mom runs, so many events cuts off
So she decided to make this drug incident, into an abuse way
This aunt is called yuki, an abandoned name due to the family finding out about her drug dealer life, she got disowned by the whole burners last name that no one knows where she is or if she's alive
Every event they want to avoid? She would sneak in and pop a needle on Stefan's arm with a low dose of drugs so he won't die but he'll be dizzy
The doctors said that he were probably taking drugs because this had no other explanation, but his mother never believed
Stefan? He knew, forced to stay silent from the fear of being abused more, already his aunts were like monsters to him that he let them drug him
That grew him a fear of the hospitals and vaccines, even hearing the hospital waiting room music would slowly get to clawing the walls, trying to get out of there
Till one day, another issue, a doctor pointed out a needle mark on Stefan's arm, it were bleeding a little, aunt yuki as accidentally pushed the needle too deep that it started bleeding
That, that opened her cruel play as they end up finding the vaccine she used that still has Stefan's blood on it, yuki got kicked out of the house and disowned, Stefan ended up needing to stay in the hospital for blood replacement and treatment, only fit him to get panic attacks and violent tantrums that once almost got a doctor blind in one eye because Stefan almost clawed his face
To this day, Stefan is rather dying than going into an hospital, even the feeling or a sight of a vaccine needle could get him all panicking
..alright! Now the freezerburn angst-
When Stefan and Freddy were freshly dating, Stefan were all nervous and trying to please Freddy often
Ofc Freddy always confirms that Stefan doesn't need to do that much effort all the time since he already loves him endlessly
That is from abandonment trauma, Stefan losing his wife, losing his friends, losing his mother, that all gave him fears of losing someone he loves, he were so anxious about it, when he were taking care of Miranda when she was a baby, he often goes to her room, and try waking her up to make sure he's alive and there, every school date were like a Chinese torture to Stefan, where he end up taking calmers like tic-tacs often to keep himself calm enough to not go overboard
Stefan fully believed someone were gonna take Miranda from him somehow even though his ex wife had nothing to do with her(doesn't even know her at all too) and none of his aunts cared about her, he was always afraid of losing again, that's kinda how he builds up this grumpy big sona to protect his daughter
He always hides it with calmers where at some point after their financials got better, he started to feel calmer, seeing Miranda knowing how to stay safe and such got him a relief that she won't gonna leave
When he started dating Freddy, that fear came again but to Freddy this time, he makes a submissive and ideal husband like Sona around him sometimes so at least maybe Freddy would find him useful and interesting enough to stay, even tho Freddy doesn't care what Stefan were because he loved him all
Stefan started seeing dreams of Freddy hating him or cheating on him, claiming he was not being enough
This gets so much that he even began making mistakes at cooking he usually never makes, giving raw meat, overcooking the rice, forgetting to season the meals, even accidentally causing fires and breaking things
That mistakes made him believe it was a sign that he were not worthy enough to be kept around anymore that even his calmers not working
He knew about his overdose incident before that he cannot take more than 2, he ended up finding another solution, or at least a "solution" he believes that it were a solution, self harm.
Punishing himself like that to make him lock in better again, he made a little lighter device that burns a little metal string so hot when he pressed it on his wrist, it looked more like a cooking accident
He started doing these lines on his wrists, ankles and around his fuels to punish himself for what he quoted "being a unworthy husband"
Till one day, Freddy finds that device, that talk were brutal
Freddy asking the questions, Stefan excusing many excuses, till Freddy started to doubt Stefan is hurting himself with this
He demanded, yes DEMANDED at this point of where, Stefan refused, saying he's making it up, Freddy got actually mad, not because Stefan hurts himself, is because Stefan hiding it, it actually enx up getting physical, Freddy didn't let Stefan leave the bedroom, end up tackled him and try finding the lines till Stefan end up telling it all crying
The scars were brutal, some bleeding due to overheat, Freddy felt like someone just killed his mom Infront of him as he stared at the scars
Stefan ends up breaking down, begging Freddy to not leave him, thinking he would leave after this, Freddy were left frozen there at what he was hearing, his own boyfriend, his future husband, begging for him to stay after finding out he were hurting himself because he believes he's unworthy
It hurt Freddy just like how those lines hurt Stefan, Freddy was not mad, he was..devastated, feeling guilty even for finding this out quite late, every scar he saw on Stefan stabbed him like a million knives stabbing him everywhere
Freddy ended up staying silent almost for the half of the day, he treated Stefan's scars, stayed near him and comforted him, he didn't tell anyone, not even Phoenicia and Miranda, heck even Mr cluckles has no idea about this
After treating Stefan, Freddy grabbed that device and hardly slammed it on the floor, shattering it into pieces as he began speaking, voice shaking but promising
"if I ever leave you, don't hurt yourself, just KİLL me." He said to Stefan, literally telling him to kill him if he even ever thinks of leaving Stefan, he believes it would be better that Stefan take his pain out of him than out of himself
That night, Freddy hardly slept, hugging Stefan tightly so Stefan knew Freddy is there, Freddy stayed awake for many nights, making sure Stefan is safe and sound and so he can act quickly when something happens
He didn't let Stefan cook or work for many months, he handled cooking himself, letting no one complain one bit, the work? He threatened the workers even, "if any of you call him for work, I'll make you fear of every yeti you'll see." The sous chefs and such listened well, not only due to fear but for respect
Freddy ends up searching for proper therapies for Stefan, day and night, one error in the bio? Swiped to the next one, he was determined that everything has to be perfect for Stefan, no excuses nor complaints acceptable.
Eventually Freddy finds the perfect therapist, going there, taking Stefan there for long, if he's let, he'll sit with him during
İf not? Right at the door, Freddy was not doing all these to show off, he was doing all these to treat his future husband, true hard care, no mistakes allowed, if Stefan feels a bit bad again, what caused it is gone forever.
He spoils him daily, not just gifts and dates, actually care and comfort, signs of commitment that he's staying and staying no matter what, as long as Stefan were feeling good, Freddy were glad about it, making sure Stefan feels Freddy's care and love at every blood cell he has
For quite long this go like that, when anyone questioned, Freddy's tell were the same "too personal, give up.", no one still spoke about what happened ever
After many months of therapy and such, Stefan started to feel better, the scars slowly gone, no more fear of Freddy leaving him, that gave Freddy the world, he ended up taking him on a big date night at a restaurant, they chatted, Freddy explained everything, his undying love, his promises to stay, he's not only head over heals, he's also has his sword and shield like a knight, ready to go through anything for his man
No one speaks about that day ever again and Stefan never self harmed or even doubt of Freddy leaving him ever again

Where the story is interesting and kinda alike like the game

We are a 15 year old kid and our grandparents locked us in the attic for a detention, but they forgot us there, while trying to find a way out we find a Tape called "SEL" we thought it's a seller thing since our grandparents use to be a seller, but as you turn around you find an old TV, with curiosity you placed the tape on the player and you find out SEL were just short for names Stefan, Errol and Luke, the show is like the Amanda's one, Luke is the main character where him and others go around, but as you watch, the room changes into puzzles, and the more you do the puzzles, the more disturbing the tapes you find gets
At some point some of the tapes plays different things, a scene of Luke and Stefan arguing, a scene of Errol's book on the ground, and you have to do serten puzzles to get through them, but the tapes ends with Luke's screaming and when you turn around, you find random objects, an oven stove and with an "how to remove" book, you have to take apart the object to get the next tape, but as you do, it shows that Luke doing the same with the object's owner, like if you get the oven stove and you try ripping off a fuel, it shows Luke wildly ripping of Stefan's fuel, if you over light the stove till it explodes, it shows Luke does the same to Stefan
Basically we are doing that to get the next tapes but also let Luke brutally kill others
After Stefan's part, The show going with Stefan's name all glitched out, and Errol start appearing at the first of the episodes on the tape, talking about how we should find a way to get out, when it Errol's turn, he find an air fryer on the table, the book says nothing, it just told us not to dos (like don't soak it in the water, don't throw it around) and we have to do those to get the tape
When you soak it in a bucket of water, it shows Luke violently drowning Errol, and when we throw it wall to wall, it shows Luke kicking Errol around till his limbs pop off, eventually Luke splash open Errol's torso like how we crashed the air fryer open and get the last tape, it shows Luke alone, just hanging before he start asking questions, "do you have friends?" "Are they like you?"
Then it starts showing glitches, you can continue the tape and nothing happens, when it's open, the attic door opens, it's the cops, the grandparents have called the cops after forgetting us there and the cops hear the TV
That's one ending, but with another you can actually avenge Stefan and Errol
While the tape is playing and after the "do you have friends?" Question, when you leave the TV, a microwave is found on the table, there's no book, you don't know what to do, but you know how to break it simply
You do some puzzles to open a cabin door and find a silverware set, you shove it into the microwave and turn it on, while it is running, the TV glitches opens to the scene Luke living, Luke being tied up with wires as he screamed for us to quit it, as the electric take over he start glitchly threatening us till he screamed in pain and actually explodes in full blood, when we turn around, the microwave is completely exploded and we find a bonus tape
When we put it on, it shows someone moving the camera, Errol, he talking about how Luke always watching that one show like it's a prayer to Stefan as he just chuckles, the camera turns to Luke as it didn't show Luke's face, but as they got closer, suddenly at the middle parts, the Luke exploding scene pops up till it shows Luke suddenly attacking Errol and the tape ends, the door end up opening on its own by our parents, they had come to pic us up and find us there, they told they'll never let the grandparents have us ever again
The story of the tapes(lime how Amanda has)
Luke is a mental hospital patient, PTSD and constant violent behaviour, one day he saw a show about truths about friends (like a random fact show), he realizes some parts in them, due to his issues, he has to be collared and leashed, unaware he thinks that this isn't something friends do, thinking they have take his freedom away he attacks Errol when he's close, accidentally killing him there, he threw him wall to wall as Stefan try stopping him, only for his to rip off his fuel, as Luke left there he end up living there, snapping his leash off, locking the doors and eating the bodies to survive, eventually some people walking by finds them, one of them being a cartoon show maker, with the greed ideas he uses this story, sugarcoating it ans making a show called SEL, where the show teaches kids stuff and also Luke dealing with his mental issues, eventually one day the show maker start going paranoid, talking about how he sees the guys in his dreams tell him to quit the show, till one day the guy found dead in his room, eyes all bleeding out, that show maker? Our great grandfather (AKA one of the grandparents father), after his death, they kept the tapes hidden in the attic to never open again, only for us to finally release them and stop the sugarcoated show.
