Some of my old favorite apps, voltage inc games (otome dating sim apps ala @officialvoltageotome​) are now just. Gone. They’ve been on my phone for years but apparently all the apps are now available in one single app, so they’ve discontinued the apps and theyre no longer working.

Basically, i missed the dates to transfer data from the old apps to the new apps. And now none of my many purchases are available anymore. If i want to play through a story i paid 4 bucks for three years ago, I gotta buy it again. Now, if it was just one $4 purchase, thats not a big deal, right? Well it wasn’t. It was probably close to $100 through all the apps. Actually probably way more (more like $200, since i would also buy sequels and spin offs)

On facebook just before they made the official transfer from old apps to new app, they made a post saying during these dates (I think it was like 3 days) you can transfer the data and save your purchases. However, I do not have or use facebook. There information didnt reach me until JUST NOW when i opened an old app and it wouldnt start and i googled the problem. 

I attempted to contact support and they basically said “Sorry you missed the date, you’ll have to buy them all again now” and I want whoever made this decision to choke on their own blood. 

All that money. Wasted. 

Dont waste your money on voltage inc stories in the new app. They’ll no doubt transfer to another app sooner or later and you’ll be outta money. Just find the videos of playthroughs on youtube or something.

I just spent my entire Saturday playing Astoria: Fates Kiss and I regret nothing. Medusa is friggin swoon worthy!
