LOVELINK: an otherlink subterm for when one’s link is influenced by a correspondence to their partner or attraction

a lovelink could be:

- linking an object your partner is objectum for

- linking a character that your introject/kin/link/etc partner is dating/paired with in the media

- linking a character that is dating/paired with a character you are attracted to in the media

- linking a character that your f/o is dating/paired with in the media

- linking an animal because your partner is kin/link/hearted with that animal

- linking a character that you yourself are attracted to due to being on the autospec

lovelink can refer to romantic, sexual, queerplatonic, tertiary attraction etc

BUT what i was trying to ask was - does lovelink also apply to anyone you USED to be in love with??

for example, im questioning vampire lovelink because my ex partner liked blood alot??(I mean, not just that, they remind me of a vampire in many ways) (Sorry if tmi) And because i just feel like this identity has alot to do with them

like, is that also considered lovelink or something else entirely?

I actually don't know! You could ask the coiner of the term, but I feel like it would still apply?

Headcanon: Lavi would laugh about Link's hairstyle in early chapters.

"I know, why girls never look at you, Howie" says Lavi with a smile, pestering him again. Link feels irritated, but at the same time he doesn't know, why Lavi just... appears nearby in random moment? He wants to get information about something? About what? What does he wants??

Howard looks confused after these thoughts and makes Lavi laugh.

There's a game called Lovelink I've never been able to finish because it's one of those dating sims where each decision cost a kidney and a half but unfortunately the characters and stories ARE interesting and I want to play it again so badly but also the most recent version sucks major ass in the sense that you open it up, it loads for 3 seconds and then your phone screen turns black so like. I'm in otome hell.
