Almost done with my first week of aligners. Still trying to figure out how I'm supposed to do my 7th day reportings before moving to the next tray.

Still hungry cuz I can't take them out for more than 40 minutes at a time but also need to have them in for 22 hours per day...AND gotta be careful when chewing cuz my teeth are 1. Sensitive and 2. Prone to clanking when chewing which hurts even more due to the shifting.

Gunna be doing this for another 9 weeks before my next appointment and batch of trays. Supposed to be done by Sept. 30th and then they'll take off the mounts and give me my retainer.

I'll then wear the retainer every day and night (except when eating or brushing my teeth), for the next year or so, then I can wear them just at night. Likely gunna wear them for like 2 years or until I feel my teeth have settled and THEN I'll wear the retainer just at night. I don't trust my teeth not to be shifty bastards.

Sooooo...things probably won't be settled with my mouth until like, I'm 42? 43? 😩

I wouldn't have even done this if my top teeth were clanking with my bottom teeth all the time and I was getting worried I was gunna break my front bottom teeth.

My aligners are not Invisalign but Motto Clear Aligners from Aspen Dental. They do kinda look like the gif below.
