being attracted to yourself is a lot of fun, and should never be used as an insult or moral failing
in this life, you must remember that you are the person you will spend it with. so make sure you’re able to hang out with yourself, go get a coffee and watch the people pass by the window. take yourself on dates and remember that your mind is the most interesting thing about you. you are your own person, made up by moments and memories no one else has. so chin up, you cannot give love freely if you don’t know how to give it to yourself.
How to heal - by dating yourself
How to heal by dating yourself You’ve become disconnected from your true self No one showed us how to heal. No one showed us how to love ourselves. How do we learn to love ourselves, especially after enduring trauma? We must discover who we are. What do we like and dislike, what’s our favourite meal, what makes us happy. It all sounds so familiar, right? It’s what you would do when you’re…

Last summer, when I was half a year into being newly single and telling myself and my friends that I was “just doing me” or “dating myself,” I realized: I wasn’t actually dating myself if I wasn’t putting in the work. Since then, I’ve been working on developing tangible strategies for dating myself. I am sharing these strategies with you, hoping that they may help illuminate the beautiful, confusing, nearsighted path back towards yourself.
As I’m writing this piece, I am social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic has completely upended lives around the world, forcing us to stay at home and physically be cut off from most of our friends and family. Whether it’s losing work, managing a less than ideal living situation, or feeling a staggering sense of loneliness, many of us are facing a disruption of our personal routines on top of the breakdown of societal systems.
If you are reading this during the pandemic, I invite you to let this moment be a call to be with yourself. Take the time to evaluate how you are working with and against yourself, to honor yourself, to love yourself.
Can we all agree that there is only one way for Peter to fix this identity reveal?
Breaking news: Local hero Spider-Man is dating a high-school student.
Peter Parker, of Queens, was less shocked to see his face associated with Spider-Man than you might think, but for a very different reason!
After a video, obtained exclusively by The Daily Bugle, claimed to reveal Spider-Man's identity and question his hero status, Pepper Stark, Stark Industries CEO and wife of late hero, Iron Man, stepped in to clear Spider-Man's name.
Spider-Man may have been cleared of any suspicion, but many locals were still clamoring to know if the identity reveal of Peter Parker was fact or fiction.
You heard it here first -- the face behind the mask remains a secret to the public -- but not to Midtown School of Science and Technology student Peter Parker! The student and the web-slinger have apparently been an item since just after The Blip. There are, at least, no concerns of an age difference, as experts agree that Spider-Man himself is of a similar age (as evidenced by his voice, use of Gen Z language, and general inability to keep the snark to a minimum. What would you expect from Iron Man's protege?).
Parker's close relationship to Spider-Man is the reason he was associated with the face under the mask, though he is just a regular high school student (albeit one with a super-famous boyfriend).
"The only thing weirder than Parker dating Spider-Man would be Parker actually being Spider-Man," said Eugene "Flash" Thompson, a close personal friend of Parker. "Yesterday at lunch he accidentally tripped over my foot and fell face-first into a tray of spaghetti. It was just sad." Flash, an influencer who has amassed an online following, who he calls his FlashMob™️, was supportive of Spider-Man, "He's a hero. I just really respect him. I don't know what he sees in Parker, but I wouldn't expect it to last."
Peter's closest relative, May Parker, only commented, "Leave my nephew alone or I'll rip off your --." She was then escorted into her apartment building by a man who seemed to be cosplaying as Tony Stark's personal chauffeur. Disrespectful.
Don't expect Peter to reveal any secrets about Spider-Man -- when asked about his relationship, he remains tight lipped.
So sorry, ladies and gents, but our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is off the market! We wish Peter and Spidey all the best.
