ABOUT RUSSELL SIMMONS: SUCCESS THROUGH STILLNESS
Russell Simmons, entrepreneur, co-founder of Def Jam Recordings, All Def Digital and bestselling author of Do You! and Super Rich, knows you can find those things through meditation. Phil Jackson, Oprah, Jerry Seinfeld, Ellen DeGeneres, Steve Jobs, David Lynch and more, have all found, as Russell has, SUCCESS THROUGH STILLNESS.
First explaining how Transcendental meditation can help readers live a calmer, healthier, more mindful, spiritual and successful life, then explaining exactly how to meditate, including giving a mantra, Russell’s new book, SUCCESS THROUGH STILLNESS: Meditation Made Simple (Gotham Books, March 4, 2014, Hardcover, eBook) keeps all of the clutter at bay: Russell cuts to the chase and gives aspiring meditators only the information needed to get started.
SUCCESS THROUGH STILLNESS is the first step to get to a more mindful, and ultimately more successful life.

BLAP On The Radio GIDRadio.com Fridays 10PM-12AM EST
Ways to Tune In The world of music production is one of the fastest growing in the industry. Still, there are very few outlets providing information on how to achieve a lucrative career as a producer. With 13 + years experience, !llmind (Produced records for Kanye West, 50 Cent, Eminem, Common, 2 Chainz, Scarface, Redman and Many More) has assembled a team to help fill that void. How do I get record placements? What is my favorite producer using in the studio? What is publishing and why is it important? What schools cater best to becoming a producer? The life blood of the music industry is based on knowing the right people. BLAP On The Radio serves to not only answer those questions, but also to provide valuable insight from some of today’s most important power players (Artist Manager, Lawyers, Major Label A&R’s, Beat Brokers, and more) Music producers rarely get the recognition they deserve. We’re here to analyze the various beat making techniques of some of our favorite producers. From J Dilla’s drum swing, to J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League’s lush musical arrangements, we plan to cover it all. Gear talk, cool production techniques, engineering tips, and bangin’ beats are some of the things you can look forward to with BLAP On The Radio. Tune in Every Friday 10PM - 12AM on GIDRadio.com BLAP On The Radio Personalities: !llmind – Co-Founder and Veteran Producer (Produced records for Kanye West, 50 Cent, Eminem, Common, 2 Chainz, Scarface, Redman and Many More) M31RK (Shawn J) – Co-Founder, Producer, Operations Manager for !llmind Productions Stoni – Music producer/engineer, first female beat battle champion, music technology expert who has worked with AVID Technologies, Propellerhead, AKAI Professional, and is currently a Product/Artist Relations Specialist for Native Instruments.
