Love and Marriage | Betty & Peter
Once the early morning rays of sun begin to seep through her window, Betty’s eyes fluttered open. She sat up and yawned, rubbing her eyes and stretching. It hit her instantly, once again, that she was married. It wasn’t supposed to feel this odd, but there was no other way of putting it. After climbing out of bed, getting showered, cleaned up, and dressed, she went outside to grab her newspaper and walked back in to her already made coffee. Thank goodness for coffee machines that could be set to make your coffee for you.
She continued to welcome the day despite her awkward circumstance. opening the windows in her kitchen before adding creamer to her coffee and taking a seat at the table. For a while she wasn’t capable of greeting her mornings like this. Bruce’s absence caused a strain on her everyday life. She had trouble falling asleep at night, only getting a few hours each night, sometimes none. When she heard her alarm clock on mornings she had to work she’d repeatedly hit snooze. She dragged when getting out of bed. Life was a bit dim, but time went by and time healed almost everything, or at least she hoped.
She had seen Bruce on the news, the Hulk’s new commitment to The Avengers having been all over her television screen on various channels. He had been the reason her and the rest of the world could live safely now. She proceeded to look for him, wanting to see him and thank him, but no such luck came to her. His whereabouts were unknown. Holding on had done her no good. So, with a new promise made to herself, Betty decided to go on with her life with a better mindset. She had a good feeling that’s what Bruce would want. It was probably better that he wasn’t around for her father would only give him the worst. Since then she’s talked to her father less, been doing more for herself, and worked everyday with an intelligent group of students. Peter Parker having been one of the brightest students, was now her week long husband. She wasn’t too comfortable with the idea of it, but Peter openly expressed how it wasn’t so bad. He was right, which brought some comfort to the situation.
Betty took a break from reading her paper, mentally going over what she had to do that day as she sipped her coffee. Grade papers, help Peter move in- the doorbell rang. She set her coffee down, making her way to the door and opening it with a welcoming smile. Stood before her was Peter Parker, packed and ready to move in. For the week she was Dr. Elizabeth Parker. The 18 year old young man stood before her was legally committed to the 33 year old cellular biologist. She cleared her throat and gave him an awkward wave. ” Hello, Peter….” Betty stepped aside, allowing him entrance into her home.
Peter wasn't for sure if it was him, but there was something extremely bizarre about Elizabeth, but she preferred to be called Betty, that he picked up. It was almost an extreme vibe of awkwardness, but he wasn't entirely sure. Then again, he wasn't for sure if she felt comfortable with the situation of marriage or not, it was entirely strange for the two of them, which sometimes led to an interesting conversation between the two on the subject matter, leaving either him or her bewildered in the end. "Ms. Ross," He still called her with a half-smile, still keeping the respect that the two had already establish, and trying not to make her feel uncomfortable so early in the day.
When she moved to the side, "Thanks," Peter walked in with everything he had, feeling the nice degree drop upon entering; it was much cooler being in the home than it was outside of the home. With a sigh of relief Peter took a long glance around the entrance and the various doorways the led into different parts of the house. After the quick examination, he turned to her. "So, guest bedroom," He mentioned, "Mind pointing me in the right direction?" Peter could feel a sinking feeling in his stomach, something he got when away from home, and knowing this will be a week long situation, he was most likely going to feel this home sickness for the time being; but he hoped it would decay away after a while. After all, this was his wife, and he should feel relaxed in her home.
“Oh that rag?” Darcy’d read a few of it’s articles. Very anti-supers. “I’ve always preferred stuff about the Avengers.”
Peter's face had flinched when she titled the bugle as 'that rag', it wasn't because she was offending something he loved, but it was the fact that he worked there; he hated associating himself with that paper. "Yeah, I don't really believe in what they preach. It's something that gets me by, sadly." He finished with a roll of his eyes, but snapped out of his annoyance of his job when she mentioned The Avengers, he smiled. "Oh, me too. They're great. They prevented Queens from getting trashed more than it already is." Peter said with a small laugh afterwards.

"Er, yeah. Jonah bugs a lot of people. Wish I could work somewhere else, but for now, I'm stuck with the bugle. Not exactly what I had in mind for a future job, but I suppose I can only hope things get better."
The New Team Red | Tim & Peter
Tim looked over and landed on the rooftop, riding the railing to the flat surface. He turned and looked at Spider-man with a smile and crossed his arms. “Spider-man….and hey…don’t hate me cuz I wear the red better” Tim quipped. He smirked and looked up at the man. On the outside he was calm but inside he was fanboying. ITS SPIDEY! ITS SPIDEY! ITS SPIDEY! ITS SPIDEY! ITS SPIDEY! ITS SPIDEY! ITS SPIDEY!
Under the mask, Peter smiled slightly at Tim's comment, "Touche, my friend." He replied, still swinging along side with him. "What are you doing on this fine evening?" His curious was peeked, so wanted to know more about Tim's motives, what exactly his plans were for tonight, and so on.
“Yeah. Reference my age one more time and I’ll throw you over my knee and spank you. And not in the fun way.” She drops his hand and gives him a tiny smile. “So what do you do Peter.”
A smirk curled over his facial features when hearing her statement about spanking him, and with a nod Peter retorted. "I'll be sure to keep that in mind; who knows, I may like it even if it is not the fun kind." Then laughing to himself slightly before answering, "Oh, I work a very exciting job at the Daily Bugle. A newspaper pretty much known for covering mostly Spider-man stories."
