looking back on romeo + juliet (1996) it’s just not realistic that claire danes would go for boho-chic leo dicaprio as her romeo when her fiance, aka paris, is none other than paul rudd
paul rudd !!!!
wearing this astronaut suit !!!
like, really, why would you ever look elsewhere???
what i realize now is that the real moral of the play/movie is not about family feuds or idealized young love. it’s about sticking with paris! because in 20 years’ time, paris will still be a lovable hot dork who doesn’t take himself too srsly, while “romeo” will spend his time on yachts making supermodels kiss his oscar while telling him he has singlehandedly saved the oceans #yikes. let this be a lesson to us all
Capulet vs Montague
Juliet Capulet and Dave Paris
Me: "Dave eat some blueberries, you want some blueberries?"
Dave "Yeah, OK."
Me: "Here, just wash em first."
Dave: "Oh wash it, like just run em under water, oh, you like wet fruit huh."
Dave: “Let’s go to my taco place.”
Me: “Ok, let’s go.”
Dave: “There’s flies there so I don’t think you’ll like it."
We are super stoked to share this review from the latest issue of Color Magazine:
"Filled with a plethora of American staples like trashcan-cooked corncobs, teenage girls drinking PBR and naked bowl skating, FDR Skatepark: A Visual History provides a telling portrait of one of America's first DIY parks. With a surprisingly compelling narrative, this book displays equal amounts of drunken debauchery, cement pouring and powerful skateboarding. With photos from notable photographers such as Jonathan Mehring and Ryan Gee, the book depicts everyone from Bam Margera to the late JR Neeves, along with every eccentric local in between. Highlights include locals' stories of crackheads with guns to girls masturbating on quarterpipes (whilst being ollied over of course) and my personal favourite, a photo of a bottle rocket being lit by a cigarette. One local quote sums up the book perfectly: "You can shoot fireworks at people and you can fucking do whatever you want; fingerbang behind the pillars." Rock on, FDR, rock on." -Dave Paris
