Why is no one considering David Oaks for Rafe? I for one, find their similarities much more striking than with Jake Gyllenhal & Co. David also matches that sad expression, which sometimes crosses Rafe’s face, perfectly.

TRH Productions have released images of Natalie Dormer (Game of Thrones, The Tudors) and David Oakes (Victoria) rehearsing for Venus in Fur, David Ives’ intoxicating dark comedy of desire and fantasy, which will have its West End premiere this autumn.

Directed by Patrick Marber, this Broadway smash-hit will run for a strictly limited nine week engagement at the Theatre Royal Haymarket from 6 October to 9 December with over 200 seats at £15 for every performance.

Venus in Fur first premiered off Broadway in 2010 before transferring to the Manhattan Theatre Club in November 2011 where it received widespread critical acclaim, winning Nina Arianda (Vanda Jordan) the 2012 Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play.

Set in downtown Manhattan, Venus in Fur tells the story of enigmatic actress Vanda Jordan who appears unannounced for an audition with writer-director Thomas Novachek. Vanda is determined to land the leading role in his new production – despite seeming wrong for the part – and over the evening that follows, their charged meeting becomes a seductive dance to the end.

When writing "Wednesday's Child"...

My latest fanfic on TWQ shipping Richard x Anne is "Wednesday's Child", inspired by "One Thousand and One Night". It was suggested (and/or semi-challenged) by Chelle in response to my post. However, this challenge was presented to me back in my high school years in creative writing class where we used fairy tales to write modern day stories. Most of the students used the theme from Cinderella; one student said "One Thousand and One Night" is not plausible to adapt into a modern day story.

I said it can.

And thus I did it.

Long before TWQ came out, I was a fan of Digimon series (all you kids back in 2000s know what I'm talking about). I once thought using this "One Thousand and One Night" theme to write a fanfiction shipping the couple Takeru x Hikari - with Takeru telling Hikari a story at the end of their date to prevent her from breaking up with him. It was meant to put all my one-shots together in one fic. So the end product would be a multiple cross-overs with Digimon.

But it never happened because I lost interest.

Today, it came back to me. It happened and the rating got spicier :)

Originally, I had the idea where Anne was stood up by an English exchange student Edward Lancaster on a Wednesday and still expecting him coming back to her. This came to me after watching the movie "There's Something About Mary". Yet, I want this to be realistic too and thought it might be a little unrealistic for an adult Anne Neville to still dreaming and waiting for a high school crush. And so, I made her background deeper and more traumatic. Richard finally was no longer a lawyer in my fic but a journalist; still, he was a manipulative bastard at times.

I have to say this fic is also the smuttiest one I ever wrote. I hope you like it though. 

On top of everything else, I really hope that you like my presentation of George. In this fic, he is funny, a buttmonkey, and genre savvy. 

David Oaks is adorable; so is Aneurin Barnard. I do want to see them work together again.
