Album Number One Hundred Fifty “Midnight on the Water” is the fourth album by #davidbromberg It was released by #columbiarecords as a vinyl LP in 1975. It was also released as a double CD, combined with Bromberg's previous album Wanted Dead or Alive, by BGO Records in 2010. My copy is on Columbia Records - C 33397. It has been released as a CD several times − by Sony Music Media in 2004, by SBME Special Markets in 2008, and by Columbia Records in 2011. My copy is on Columbia Records - PC 32717 The title Wanted #deadoralive is a play on words, referring to how the record was created. Side one of the LP was recorded in the studio with various musicians, including four members of the #gratefuldead − #jerrygarcia , #phillesh , #keithgodchaux and #billkreutzmann . Album Number One Hundred Forty Seven “David Bromberg” is the debut album by American multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter #davidbromberg . It was released by Columbia Records in February 1972. The album includes "The Holdup", written by Bromberg and #georgeharrison and "Sammy's Song", which features #bobdylan on harmonica. My copy is on #columbiarecords PC 31104. (with orig. album cover C 31104) Bromberg came to record the album as a proven session musician and after performing an impromptu solo set at the 1970 #isleofwightfestival . The album received highly favorable reviews from some music critics. In the United States, it peaked at number 194 on the Billboard albums chart.
