So, I've always wondered, how realistic are the fights in the Bourne Trilogy?

We actually fielded this question last year. The very short answer is, “not very.” The actual techniques are pretty good. The characters use a mix of Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do, and Filipino Kali. Both of those are consistent with the kind of combat you’d want professional killers using.

They’re fast, efficient, and lethal. Kali in particular is exceptional at removing people from this mortal coil combat. And, that’s the problem. As you get into the second and third films, people actually employing the techniques displayed would be killing or crippling their opponents by the third or fourth strike.

I love your WoT summaries. I'm on my second run through the books and getting to see you experience some of my favorite moments is fantastic. If you ever come to a point where you think it can't get any better, you've got another thing coming. ANYWAY, my question is....how do you pronounce your URL?

Ah, the url. You’re welcome to say it whatever way you find easiest, but without resorting to IPA, it’s roughly “new-shway” 

If it helps, ‘neu’ is Catalan, and ‘xue’ is Mandarin Chinese (both mean ‘snow’, which makes your question amusingly well-timed). 

That is likely a longer explanation than needed, but I’m posting this because you’re not the first to ask!
