I saw @dawnbuneary GB versions of Branch and Poppy from the Trolls movie and thought it was adorable as heck and wanted to draw them XD I hope you don’t mind dawnbuneary ; w ; !!!  BUT LOOK HOW CUTE IT IS ITS ONE OF MY SHIPS OKAY.

SEDDM! I'm too lazy to make a post on this, but I'll ask you: Did you catch the "Wand to Wand" reference amongst the other references in Bon-Bon? When Marco asked Star "You okay?" and she replied "Yeah, thanks to you", it was a quote from Wand to Wand when Star asked Marco if he was okay and Marco said the same thing...except in Wand to Wand, they hugged and in Bon-Bon, Marco immediately leaves to check on Jackie ;-;

And about having checked Jackie... well, I want to make a post about that too, but as far as Marco knew Star was just fresh from a physical fight, he didn’t know yet about her emotional state. His voice is super sweet while asking her if she’s ok, and after having made sure of that he understandably -if, admittedly, a bit abruptly, but with no ill intents, I think- goes to his date, who is not used to magical explosions and fights with evil bird overlords.

After having been traumatized by hearing his soon-to-be-girlfriend talk about all the fun she had fighting rats in a graveyard, Marco’s sees how sad Star, and immediatly “offers” her a hug. Even more, he apparently realizes that something’s wrong, and that Star can’t be like this just because she lost the book and Glossaryck (and that’s not to say that she doesn’t care for Glossaryck, but 1. he’s more than capable to protect himself 2. Star is absolutely distraught, not just sad or angry or worried)

I bet Glossaryck's favourite romantic-comedy is just watching Star and Marco everyday. It's the only one he DOESN'T know the ending to...right?

I’m sure he knows exactly what’s going on between the alien princess and the hoodie boy from Earth. He just wants Star to figure it out herself because the wand is apparently influenced by strong emotions and “forcing” ( = having to explain it to her) those emotions would be bad.

But deep down he really enjoys their chemistry and so I can see him manipulating the two teens into awkward situations... only to be disappointed by the fact that they’re already so comfortable around each other that there’s no awkwardness, never. Star and Marco are just too pure.
