Guess what? We may see baby Quackers in a month! Also, we may not. 😏 They may not all be fertilized. Or I may do something wrong. Or I may do something right? 🤞 I washed 2 before I remembered my great incubator dream. I wiped 2 with a damp cloth because they were unpleasant. And 4 are just 'natural'. Everyone has been weighed, documented, and placed sweetly in their new home. Pekin ducks incubate for 28 days. Today is Day 1. I'll turn them at least 3x /day until Day 25, when they go in lockdown. (Aiming for 5x ) I found so many tips on different sites and posts, hopefully some of them will help. Like letting them cool a bit each day & spritz with water later on, recreating the 'mom leaves the nest to take a break & comes back with wet feathers' scenario.
