Day 1 of 5 (Positivity Challenge)

Let us start this on a good note.

The way heading to work has always been the toughest part of my day. It includes expectations of the upcoming stress, never ending co-staff’s demands, and sometimes inappropriate clients’ approaches. But I find a way to blur those out by losing myself on early praise and worship. It gives me a sense of strength and motivation all throughout. Here’s top three on my playlist.

1. Beneath the Waters (I Will Rise)

I will rise, I will rise As Christ was raised to life Now in Him, now in Him I live

I remind ‘life’ who my Saviour is and who am I living for whenever the enemy presses me down. As Romans 8:31, if our God is for us, who can be against us? I consider every day and every season as pruning that will produce the sweetest fruit.

2. Love Goes On

Ever our heart will seek Jesus in everything From sky to ocean deep Your love goes on

I am beyond ‘kilig’ knowing who loves me and who never stops loving me. Yes, I still fail Him in any other way but He keeps telling me John 3:16 - His merciful and gracious sacrifice to save me.

3. Cornerstone

Christ alone; cornerstone Weak made strong; in the Saviour’s love Through the storm, He is Lord

It is my constant note that everyday is like the well-known footprints in the sand. He is leading me ashore or carrying me through high tides. Metaphorically, storms and calamities are still present, and still ridiculously affects me. But He casts Psalm 40:2 to reach out for me - setting my feet on a rock and keeping me secure.

P.S. Hillsong fan? Yes. ;)
