Aiko and nolan met at a bar, both of them only wanted a distraction for a night but they kept running into each other for a while until one night Nolan ended up killing the person Aiko was hunting. Since then they slowly started talking more about her hobby and his work. Both of them evolved from fuck buddies to friends with benefits and eventually stated venting out about their own crushes to each other (it was by accident at first, but lets just say they used each other to vent their frustrations). In no time they were both helping each other get together with their crush.

About the sketch: I did this one really quickly, surprisingly, I didn't post it yesterday mostly because I was exhausted and started working on it really late and then today was my bday and I just wanted to take the day for myself

So today's my beloved partner's birthday! He wanted a sona for himself that wasn't related to any of his ocs and still reflected his vibe, I didn't have much time to work on different designs before his birthday was actually here but... yeah

I know I sent you this drawing before with a little message, but I feel like I could say so much more to you! I love you so, so, so much!! In all these years we've known each other there were very few moments were we couldn't chat properly and I can tell you that my life isn't as fun without you, everywhere I go and everything that happens to me I'm always thinking about how I'm gonna share it with you, I always wanna tell you everything and just... share my life with you in the best way I can. I wish we lived closer to each other cus sometimes all I wanna do is hug you and just cuddle you so both of us can feel better. I wish we could go on events together or that I could take you to my other friends places whenever I go there, so I could spend time with you and they could actually get to meet you then... I mean I think every single person who ever heard me talk for some time has heard something about you already because you're in my mind the whole time! You've been so important to me for so long, you helped me so much with so many different things and I wanna do the same for you! I just want you to know that no matter what happens in your life I'll always be here for you and I'll always love you! You're not getting rid of me now or at any other moment of your life!

These two met in a very.... controversial way, I'd say. JJ was for a long time one of Nolan's targets, but both of them ended up bonding the more time they ended up spending together and getting to know each other. They found out they have a lot of things in common, like their love for reading, their thirst for knowledge, their liking for history.... and even their coffee addiction actually.

Nolan frequently spends days awake trying to find out as much as he can about a target, including their location if that's not included in his mission's file. His attention gets sucked into his work very easily and he's constantly thinking about it, but JJ knows that him being a human should sleep way more than he actually does when he gets so focused on work.

About the sketch:

oh bOY! Even with me using all sorts of guides to help me Nolan's face was A STRUGGLE! That's not really a complaint, though, it was for sure a challenge, but it wasn't a bad one. It took me a while to understand the position I actually wanted his head to be hahaha

One of my biggest struggles is to draw the cranium at one angle and then the face at a different one. Sounds weird, I know, but if you're used to draw the face a certain way your brain will go straight to that the next time you draw a face again, even if it's at a different angle. Your brain likes patterns and simple stuff, the less it has to work, the more it likes.

Not gonna lie it's fun to give myself these small little challenges inside this challenge (no, I'm not doing the big stuff because I know I need to keep it somewhat simple, I like to make me suffer but not too much). If I drew the same thing everyday I wouldn't notice a bunch of stuff I need to improve at, anyway, and my goal here is to get better at drawing faster!

Also just adding that these drawings are made in one (1) day, so usually I just go for 1 panel but made it look nice than make the comics with more than one panel but can't finish it in time to post it in the same day... plus I'd be dying by the end of the week! hahaha

Who knows, maybe I'll make a comic challenge at some point!

She's the younger sister of Nolan. She went to the US a few years after Nolan did, their mother said she would have way more opportunities ther and she could help her brother if he needed it. She doesn't help him exactly because he doesn't want her dealing with that (not to mention that she has a phobia of blood), but he did train her to be able to protect herself... she knows only the very basics to keep herself alive. Since when she arrived Nolan was already well stablished and financially stable she takes advantage of that to go out and have fun (Now that she's finally allowed out of the house because 1) Nolan thinks she can defend herself and 2) he knew she would try to sneak out anyway.) He gave her her own credit card so she would stop stealing his. Velvet usually goes out to ride her skateboard at night and enjoy the brise (even though she usually feels cold, she does enjoy the feeling of the wind hitting her skin). Fire can grab her attention in a very strong way. It soothes her, and because of that she's always walking around carrying a lighter with her so she can distract herself from time to time... yes, she also set things on fire when she's bored or stressed, but she tries to be as careful as possible to not hurt anyone. She likes witchcraft, even if she doesn't really know much about it, usually she just lights up incenses, collect crystals and tries some minor spells that honestly she can't tell if they did work or not and she can read tarot. She has a particularly big collection of stuffed animals, but from all of them her favorite is a little orange bunny called Bombom. She's very impulsive and is terrible at self preservation. If you bet her to throw herself from a cliff to dive into the see she will try.

About the sketch: I always have a lot of fun drawing Velvet, but trying to remember all her piercings, rings, earrings and tattoes is a struggle hahaha. I have to always check other drawings I've made before to be sure if I'm placing them at the right place and the right ones (I've mix up left and right all the time). And every time, without exception I need to grab my sketchbook to see if I've missed anything!
