Laura Barton may have been a surprise but it's no excuse for the misogynistic shit the MCU fandom threw at the character calling her made up and that she was a sleeper agent there to keep Clint in line after he'd been mind wiped (nothing in canon backs any of this up) and all the jokes about stay at home mothers etc. This fandom is disgusting and whether or not you shipped Nat/Clint or not (I didn't), that crap was absolutely uncalled for. The entire fandom showed it's ass bigtime on that one.

What!? Oooof course there’s a sleeper agent conspiracy out there. Agreed that while it was sudden and kinda unnecessary and seemingly the easiest solution they could cook up for the plot they introduced, there’s no need to throw Laura under the bus for it and kill any potential character exploration. That’s all on the writers for making these choices.

I feel like this would be a great fic for like a character that’s gone through so much change and they just keep saying over and over again that they’re fine but they’re really not and someone catches on and it’s not said in like a cruel way but they just know that things need to be let out so they can heal 

so like? a lot of pairings could fit this I think 

I’m gonna go with Daisy/Bobbi on this one esp near the end of season 2 after Daisy’s mother almost killed her and she had just lost both her parents and Bobbi is just there and like who wouldn’t want a hug and some kind words from Bobbi?
