Currently in a DBZ themed session. Two saiyans, Jaga and Parslee, accidentally named a newborn Namekian who had just hatched Lunch. Our Frieza race, named Polar, told Jaga she wasn’t allowed to call the child Lunch. That is, before the child started chanting ‘LUNCH! LUNCH!’ while pointing at himself.

If anyone knows of an actual, playable Dragon Ball Z-ish RPG, hit me up, I’ve been wanting to write for one but the systems I run into are pure trash. There’s a fanmade one out in the ether right now that looked workable, until I tried their “training” “system,” wherein your PC’s could blow past every saga between Raditz and Cell in one year of training (it was meant to be linear but turned out to be exponential).

Pow pow power wheels

When mining google for new ideas I came across this post by Lenny Balsera over at Evil Hat. I might adapt the ideas here into the powers/ki system and thus rewrite the rules YET AGAIN,

Saku squinted as the Captain of the Cooler Squad broke into a string of indecipherable expletives. “What he say??”

“Ah dunno.” Jeice shrugged. “I don’t speak bollocks. Crank up the tunes, Burter!”
