i don’t understand why people logically think that though. like canonically, mickey and lou CHASED eden’s gate back into their fuckin hole so why would the other siblings make any difference. the project had the judges and the highwaymen have dogs with bOMBS attached to them like. you saw what they did to eg’s house of sticks too. and that was just mickey, lou and a COUPLE of highwaymen because not even the entire army of em showed up. and on top of that, the project are merely in hope county where as the highwaymen end up scattered across the majority of the us, led by a bunch of chapters. imagine if mickey and lou called several of those groups into hope county ? they’d wipe the seeds off the face of the earth with No problem whatsoever, and the only reason the cap won against the twins was bc it’s a video game and ubi couldn’t kill the player off. realistically, the twins had enough firepower to p much blow prosperity sky high and be done with em but poetic license n shit.

he does!! his stims are very tactile and movement based, it's why he moves around so much in cutscenes he's in! he shifts his feet around and just kinda goes goes goes all the time! he also likes running his hands along the metal of his plane. anything smooth and metallic works pretty well but it has a Specific Feeling that just calms him down. also oddly enough the feeling of being in the air is kind of a stim for him, as are the really loud engine noises. also just kinda mindlessly fidgets with anything you give to him ever. also? him always wearing his hat? Pressure Stim.

depending on the route your deputy takes depends on how many glares he gets.

in verses where deputies arrest the seeds versus actually killing them is one where paul doesn’t take a devastated road. at least until the end of the world. cause i think it would still happen. so if he doesn’t know they are alive or not he’s still fairly riddled with guilt and grief.

BUT

in verses where they take the canon route and actually kill them, paul gets gradually angrier with each death. the death he takes the hardest is john. but by the time the bombs happen and he doesn’t know where joseph is? paul is an absolute mess because not only did the deputy kill his entire family but he also watched the resistance tear into his region right before the end of the world.

so , needless to say , paul is very hurt and he’s very angry. but a lot of it is being mad at himself because he felt his true mission was to be able to stop all the violence. it was his destiny , so to speak or at least he thought , to be brought to hope county to help rescue it from itself. so there’s a lot of blame to go around at himself and the deputy that killed his family. before they end up in that bunker paul probably threatens to kill him once or twice but even stuck in the bunker with him he could never do it.

Another glance on his watch makes it visible how IMPATIENT he’s getting right now. The other’s should be done down there by now, ------------------they taking TOO MUCH TIME.

As he hears the door open, he turns around QUICKLY. Trying to hide his face maybe helps avoiding some uncomfortable SMALL TALK with an ... -------- unknowing officer. But as soon as he hears his NAME, it feels like PANIC is running through his whole body like lightning. Being called Lance during the job instead of Jack usually means, --------------somebody RECOGNIZES him. Which means this whole thing could be over in less than a few seconds. He turns around, putting all the fake INNOCENCE in his face until he sees that it’s actually ALDER who’s standing in front of him. ---------------This could make things even harder. What kind of idiotic explanation could possibly get him out of this? It’s time to work like the PROFESSIONAL he is.

Everything hurt but nothing as much as the pain of losing and what that actually meant to John. His plane had crashed somewhere. The parachute trip down had been fine but the fight that ensued on the ground with the deputy had gotten brutal. Blood still dripped heavily from the bullet torn ear lobe he’d sustained at the church. His head and chest ached, bled, he couldn’t tell the damage yet. He assumed he had an exit wound in the right side of his chest but he couldn’t feel one in his thigh. Ribcage hurt as he took a ragged breath, left hand gripping at Alder’s wrist. He’d said his bit. Had the key on his neck ripped from him. This man had ruined everything. “You want this key because you think you're saving people but they are already safe. We had a plan.You don't understand. You don't believe. YOU DON’T CARE! Just do it! Finish this. Let your WRATH consume you. Kill me. It’s all you’re good for,” he struggled out.
