The Beautiful People || Jessica & Oswald
Okay, he couldn't help it. Well he could, but he was doing it anyway, just because why not? It was there, and it wasn't like he was a creep. He knew it was a performance and that there was no obligation to him after it was over, so he didn't see the harm. Besides, when was the last time he'd just done something for the hell of it? A long time ago, that's for sure.
So he pushed the entrance flap of the burlesque tent to the side, and strolled in, a hand in his pocket. If he was going to be here he preferred not to be like the dads in shorts and baseball caps that no doubt frequented the place, opting for something a little nicer instead.
But he still felt a little awkward being there. After all, these were his coworkers. He stood near the edge of tent for a moment, rubbing his arm and trying to figure out what to do. Okay, so there was an empty table over there.
He made up his mind and was heading for it, when his attention was suddenly caught by someone walking towards him and-- well holy shit. He'd be lying if he said she weren't one of the more attractive women he'd seen, and he really honestly tried not to stare, but he ended up with his eyes staring vaguely and pointedly in the opposite direction because staring from across the room when a show wasn't even going on was creepy and he didn't want to be creepy.
