Rainey as Your Girlfriend!

♬ You (with Phoenicia's help) teach Rainey how to use a smartphone and text so you can share cute messages throughout the day 🥰 she uses a lot of complete sentences but also a lot of punctuation. Sends things like "Missin' you, darling!!! You better get over here for a kiss as soon as you get home..." "Now WHY does Doug insist on sneaking up on people like that?" "Tell Zoey she's invited to the party, too, alright? Thank you, my love." "Well, I happen to think you look like the cat's pajamas in that get-up! 😘 If you find your way over here I'll show you just how much!!"

♬ One of her favorite moves (and definitely yours, too) is when she takes her boa off and puts it around you, pulling you in for a kiss or three! You're trapped and all, but no one needs to save you—you're right where you want to be.

♬ You'll often be sitting with your work, book, or game, just enjoying your time with your girlfriend by your side. You become used to doing all your favorite things with the soundtrack of Rainey softly singing under her breath as she cleans or does her own tasks. The sweetest parallel play!

♬ When she gets excited she'll grab you by the waist or shoulders and twirl you around!

♬ I’m sorry to tell you this (no I’m not), but you’re going to start picking up 1920’s slang. You will start calling it necking and saying what a swinging party this is and talking about the hooch. Rainey has just gotten under your skin, what can we say 😉

♬ Your absolute hype woman when you go shopping. “Girl/boy/honey, if you don’t look cute as a button! …You’re not sure? Are you not seeing that sexy thing in the mirror?” “That shirt is your color! Ooh, I think I saw the perfect hat too, can I go get it?” “Do you feel good in it? You do? Then don’t worry what anyone else says! Although I will say, I think you’re quite the sight in it myself.”

♬ You’re the first to hear every song she writes, even if she suddenly gets quiet and her eyes don’t meet yours, even if your hand cups her cheek to lock eyes and warmth pools against your palm. Rainey may feel shy sharing this part of herself sometimes but there is not another soul on this earth she will workshop a vulnerable song too and when your eyes shine on her with pride it’ll all be worth it. Relief floods her smile as she falls into your arms, knowing you’d never judge her.

♬ If you don’t know how to dance get ready to have a personal instructor! Your sweetheart would never get mad if you step on her toes—not that she won’t say anything—and she’ll do every move with you again and again until you’re whooshing across the dance floor!

♬ If you do know how to dance or are at least confident in one style, Rainey would love for you guys to learn a new type of dance together! Maybe you know swing already but you don’t know every move of the tango. Maybe you grew up on salsa but Rainey wants to do some romantic waltzing. You may be able to teach her the bachata but neither of you have done hip hop! The possibilities are endless just as the fun you two have!

♬ Rainey will tell you again and again: she won’t quit on you. Even at your lowest, if depression is getting you and you don’t think you deserve her right then, something horrible has happened and the guilt of not dealing with it well quite yet is striking you, whatever it is, your girlfriend will tell you every day if she has to that you stuck up for her and she will fight for you the same way. To the end of her days, she’s yours and she knows who you really are. The person she loves, she adds softly, stroking over your hair as you relax just a tiny bit further into her arms.

♬ Vinyl shopping! Record stores are another favorite date. There’s something so cute and intimate about getting to be the one to place headphones gently over your ears, respond to your dance moves the best she can when she can’t hear what you hear, challenge you each to find a song that reminds you of your relationship and smile into the embrace when you both end up coming back having picked the same one. Your collection of records is getting so big you invest in another shelf and even hang some on the walls, an assortment ranging from Ella Fitzgerald to your favorite indie artist Rainey hadn’t heard of to an Ozzy Osbourne title you and Bodhi bonded over too!

♬ That Archie and Veronica meme where she’s asking if he’s bored of the kiss-proof lipstick test and he’s having the time of his life? Yeah, that’s Rainey and you respectively 😌

♬ Rainey loves leaning in and whispering things in your ear just to see your reaction, grinning like the gorgeous little devil she is if she can see a flush on your cheeks or feel your pulse rise when she rests her hand gently against your neck.

♬ Another thing she would really enjoy if you're down is getting your nails done together, especially getting matching sets or designs! If you're not one for anything flashy even just getting a solid complementary color would make Rainey really happy.

♬ Has a cute little habit of tugging your coat around you tighter when you go out together.

♬ Early in your relationship, Rainey is shy with saying she loves you out loud, but as time goes by she's willing to shout it out even over the crowds of your famous parties!
