Fright-Rags has teamed with Dead Sled Coffee to release Bela's Brew, a rich dark roast for creatures of the night, for $17. With a bag designed by Kyle Crawford, it’s scheduled to ship the week of October 25.

Inspired by Dracula actor Bela Lugosi, the Colombian coffee is a medium roast that tastes that’s described as “nutty with a subtle hint of spice.” Additional details on the flavor and its origin can be found below.

Fun fact: Dead Sled is co-founded by Acey Slade, who currently plays rhythm guitar in the reunited Misfits. His resume also includes bass in Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, bass in Dope, and guitar in the Murderdolls, among others.

The Bela’s Brew is a tribute not only to the man, but the city that Bela first passed though when immigrating to the US from Hungary. Chicory infused coffee is the traditional favorite amongst New Orleans natives and this is the Dead Sled spin on that tradition. We take a single origin Colombian coffee and roast it to a medium/high level then infuse it with Chicory to give it a dark nutty and slightly spicy coffee. Enjoy Bela’s Brew  Cafe’ Au Lait with a beignet or black if you prefer.

Today was just the desk peddler since I had a lot of work to do at work and tonight I’m working on finalizing my new story to release on Friday. I just want to make sure things flow right and I catch as many typos as I can…
