Time to post up my infamous #Peta Filter to sift out fundamental animal rights activists who take it to the extreme. I feel guilty for eating meat as much as I do eating plant life because all of it is sacred! It's because I feel connected to it all - plants and animals alike and it's gratitude for both when I have to eat. It's an awareness and a respect for these intelligences making a sacrifice so that I don't go hungry.. I'm on a mission with these #deadcow posts to say slow down out on #openrange highways in the #wildwest. Hitting a thousand pound animal can kill a person too! I feel worse for the individual that smacked this poor beast. I wonder what his car looked like!? My buddy, Mike, hit a cow out on open range along #ExtraterrestrialHighway in #Nevada. It totaled the vehicle and deployed the airbags. It was a brand new car and I told him to slow down and it was after dark. Later on he told me I had jinxed him because I had warned him! Go figure... It was a brand new Hyundai and he hadn't even made his first car payment. The highway patrol man that took the repost said we should write a "thank you" letter for making such a safe car... Let this be a lesson: there is NOTHING too pressing in life that can't wait. If your driving through open range 35-40 miles an hour tops is the best speed to avert a Cow-tastrophe! 🙄 (at Extraterrestrial Highway (Area 51))
