Major yap sesh below, I put it under the cut because it’s just a lot of personal stuff + an update on Dearly Departed if you’re still waiting for the next chapter.
This scenario in general is just if Dib managed to convince Zim to go ghost / monster hunting with him! It doesn’t go well, because even in a perfect world Dib Membrane can never have good luck.
I’ve come up with a personal challenge for me, to post at least once a month on all of my socials. It’s a bit of a struggle since I’ve mostly been doing animations (and those take time to finish + I get bored easily), but ah well.
I roleplay as Zim and Dib (ZADF only, the creators of the app are maaajoorr antis and have previously pissed themselves and actually a head mod of theirs threatened me over ZADR when I used the app Status.) if you ever wanna reach out! Currently am the only Dib account and you can tell which Zim I am if you look hard enough lol.

Major update on Dearly Departed / Dead Dib AU, I’m beginning working on it again! Got a good rough outline (not written down though…hahahah…I’m gonna put it into words soon okay!!) for exactly how I want the story to go, with it having about 3-4 ultimate story Arcs in which a SHIT ton of stuff happens.
Dead Dib AU was always planned to be something as a gift for the fandom / ZADR community, though it’s not entirely a ZADR story. In fact, you could barely consider it one when you realize Dib is literally absent for about 85% of the story, except for the brief diary mentions, flashbacks, and diary entries.)
Despite what I’ve said, it is a ZADR story at the same time! Seriously, so many big plans you have no clue guys. Also working on fleshing out the side characters besides our main ones (Gaz, Dib, Zim, Professor Membrane, GIR) as I have a handful of OCs that will be thrown into the fray and I’m nervous about characterization of a certain purple eyed irken.
All this is to say that with each once a month art post, I’ll be adding small Dead Dib AU story updates. If nothing of major note has happened, I won’t mention the story. That’s all!

I know people had questions about Dead Dib AU and I’d love to answer those here or on AO3. My other fic (that’s (currently) sfw), The Cave, also has had some questions asked about it that I’d like to answer.
