Hannah Waddingham as Judith Burton in Ride or Die, Season 1 Episode 2
I’ve done a moderately deep dive into why being a Time Lord is so colossally boring
Gallifrey’s big collar lot have colossal power and godlike detachment, but what do they really, you know, do?
watching Deadly Assassin again. That’s such a comfort episode lol. I love stupid Time Lord culture. And it’s just ridiculously fun watching Four running around being a nuisance, gradually losing all his clothes, and getting his ass kicked for an entire story.
Deadly assassin
No matter how many times I watch Deadly Assassin, I always get caught off guard by the Master pulling off the Sash of Rassilon and whacking the Doctor with it. Like flicking a towel at someone. With the freaking Sash of Rassilon. It never stops being hilarious.
Every Doctor Who Story → The Deadly Assassin
“The assassin must be tried and executed before the election.”
Try to say differently but the master always recycles their plans? How many times have they tried to take over the matrix? I can count four in 50 years
"Stop squirming, I'm trying to help." - Seto
Helping My Injured Muse Sentence Starters
“I’m trying!”
The wound should have healed by now, being a relatively minor (well, for him) graze from a bullet in his side, but it turned out the nurse that had been treating him either made a mistake or wasn’t paying enough attention, resulting in a nasty infection festering under the bandages. Or at least what would have been a nasty infection if he were “normal”. As is, his body had managed to burn it all out with ease, it just wasn’t healing as fast as it should be. Annoying, but manageable.
Seto hadn’t exactly been thrilled with the nurse’s work, and likely being the perfectionist that he was, had decided to redress the wound himself (it was in an awkward position for the priest to do so himself), which had lead to them sitting like this; Nick’s shirt off, bandages being wrapped around his side, and TRYING to hold still.
Without a shirt or the usual jacket, it was easier to see what the priest had been truly built for. Biologically engineered to kill, and kill efficiently. Wiry muscle usually hidden under his jacket betrayed the strength in his lean form; physical prowess only enhanced by sharpened senses. Smell, hearing, sight, and most of all; touch. A combination that had lead to this current predicament;
It turns out the elite assassin was, in fact, remarkably ticklish.
“!!!” Wolfwood had beentrying in vain to keep that little quirk under wraps, struggling not to jump or squirm any time those hands moved too far down his ribs (which could still be seen under the muscle despite the high-calorie diet), or brushed over the old scars just above his hip, and ultimately failing.
“Yanno, this ain’t that necessary. It’ll probably still heal on it’s own jus’ fine...” Embarrassed? Just a little bit.
