I remember when this picture was taken, Mum and I were not in the best place, relationaly speaking. I remember thinking on the day 'I have to pretend I like you for these pictures'. So for years they were not my favourite photos of us. But now I am so glad I have them. Because even though we have a roller-coaster of a relationship, even in our darkest moments, there's nothing I wouldn't have done for her. There's nothing I won't do now, to make sure she passes the way SHE wants to. Now I look at this picture and there's no resentment, no angry, because, as my mum has said, the only thing left in the end is LOVE. Everything else just seems insignificant, there is only LOVE between us, mother and daughter, now and for always. . One day I will share this amazing woman's life story, and you too will see her for the true hero that she is. .
