Thinking about how Alistair calls Dean a girl in Supernatural. And yeah, from a doylist perspective, it's another round of misogyny on The Misogyny Show (albeit with a specific purpose). But I also think, from a watsonian perspective, that there's a bit of hedonism to it. For Dean, at least. Demons don't restrain themselves. He doesn't have to be a man if he doesn't want to be. He can be a good girl. For Alistair.
