I made a post about Hugh's minute changes in expressions and stature when it comes to how quickly Will changes throughout the end of season three.

How quickly he masks his smile as he says it. He's not hiding it from Hannibal, because Hannibal already has a sense of Will's mind. He's hiding it from everyone else standing behind Hannibal, and he's trying to subtly indicate to Hannibal that he has a plan. Or at least, he's going to set him loose and see what happens.

I kept seeing that smile and I was frothing at the mouth because excuse me???

On Letting It Go

Yeah yeah yeaaaaaah, I'm perfectly aware that "Let It Go" was embraced by the community due to Elsa's arc/its queer repression metaphor. I was fucking there, in 2013, full on adult when I watched the fellow queers embrace it as their newest anthem.

Elsa was written by a straight woman who's been married to two men (she's Doc Oc's wife!) and Jennifer Lee has acknowledged the broad metaphor that includes seeing her and her personal journey as queer coded.

Fandom is where you're supposed to let your freak flags fly. So let them. Focus on other IPs that haven't shut the queer community out from canon, keep churning out all of that Wenclair art and fan fiction, and let the writers do their jobs in peace. This is your chance to start growing up and out of delusions and into reality. Be grateful for your imaginations, and that you have a shit ton of other people online who love what you love. Don't get stuck in the middle stages of grief, it'll kill your spirits, and your spirits have already been dampened.
