isn't it funny how the sky can feel bigger than itself sometimes? like the clouds cradle more than just the stars in their palms and airplanes skip along stepping stones that we can't even see? and you've heard poets sometimes say that the heart is like the sky, something to look up to when times are rough and what brings rain and storms crashing down. god knows i'm as changeable as the air, and you are as breathtaking as a sunset and lasted just about as long, so maybe there is some truth to that. well either way i'm just looking at the way the clouds look tonight and wondering if you'll ever look up to try to find me again.
