So at the start of the month, SekiTomo attended the G-Cafe in Japan for a small talk event after their special there. Naturally since it was Yzak related, I did my usual JP Twitter sleuthing to get the deets. I’m copy-pasting what I wrote elsewhere:
- First Seki talking about the time when he was dubbing for Yzak. Was originally told Yzak was a villain and didn't care about anything else around him. And to play him expecting him to die? But when shit goes down and Nicol dies and Yzak has the reaction he has, he was told that Yzak "changed to that kind of person," so Seki's performance changed Yzak's original plan? (ty god and also jesus)
- They showed some like: YZAK SCENES because he is beautiful, etc. (scenes shown: Getting his shit wrecked/his scar. Reacting to Nicol. Yelling WHY DID YOU COME BACK BITCH at Athrun. "Next time you'll be under MY command!")
- Seki literally called Yzak "the incarnation of a tsundere" at the event, bless.
- Then Seki did some LIVE lines. (lines done: His "He dodged?" right before he gets his ass beat. Scar reveal line of "I'll kill him next time no matter what!" His "I'm not that simple minded" about Dearka's "lmao you gonna coup?" line. "IT HURTS IT HURTS IT HURTS" "Next time you'll be under MY command! Until then don't die.")
- Then I guess after that they had questions and random shit. Obvs since the G-cafe is about food and the special there is about Kira and Athrun cooking since Kira wanted to cook for Lacus, they asked what Yzak would cook and for who and also what Seki would like to cook himself.
Seki's answer was like: since Yzak was always wealthy and grew up well, there's also a thing/complex? about not knowing how "the common man" lives, so he'd try making bean sprouts first (the term self-catering/cooking was also used here). And then also making Sapporo Ichiban Shio Ramen noodles in milk because that's what Seki ate earlier and it's also like, something poor college students make. (Seki....................) First he'd make it for Dearka. From my JP DeaYza follows it sounds like he said "when he comes over" which, made them all fujo out, which, same honestly. And if Dearka gave it an endorsement as to if what he made is good, then he'd let Athrun try it. Then he said something about Dearka and Athrun's interpretations/tastes being different? (I dunno in what context, maybe that Athrun might not like it even though Dearka did?)
- And then he did one more line before the end of the event which was the classic "Yzak Jule, Duel, launching!" line.
