“Dear Men, work hard so that in your old age you have something for yourself , forget about the children and their mother!

You are the only stranger in that family you call yours, that house is for your wife and kids !

My grandfather told me that a married man is like a tractor that builds a road, does it very nicely BUT when the road is completed , they bring a low loader and carry the tractor away claiming it will spoil the road!!

That tractor is never allowed to step on the road it built ! Same case to a married man, you deny yourself , get loans , wear used clothes to see your children through high school and college because we believe that the only gift you can give your children is quality education cos there are no more shambas!!

When the children hit teenage, now the Father is dispensable, most of these women poison the children against their father, language like “If it wasn’t for me you wouldn’t have studied, he was only interested in alcohol and women!!

Now the tractor is about to be carried away!!! Once the children start working , mzee has retired and when the children come visiting the poor mzee is given two hundred infront of the mother , while the mother pulls them to the kitchen and the Father doesn’t know what mama has been given!

Once the children drive off, the mzee is told to buy sugar with the two hundred unless he wants to drink sugarless tea!!

These are some of the reasons why men die early and leave widows behind suffering !! I have seen mothers fly abroad to visit their children while the mzee is left at home looking after their two cows, ever wondered why?

That poison spread by mothers towards the mzee !!

Dear men work hard and save something for yourself because nowadays aging without property is almost like a death sentence !!!

Wake up struggle while you can before your old age.

Dear Men

Dear men,

This is from a mother,awife,a sister,a girlfriend,a daughter and a woman to a father,a husband, a boyfriend and a man.

This one is not the one where I would go on about the treatment or whatever with women, this one is to thank you and bring some things to your notice too.

People go on about how world is impossible without women but our world is as unimaginable without you guys too.

If men won't be there then a daughter won't have her superhero , a sister won't have someone to fight and love all day , a mother won't have her son to shower unconditional love , a country won't have a soldier to fight for.

We appreciate your support you gave us time and again with different gestures and campaigns like #heforshe and #metoo and many more. I understand being a man is not easy hiding emotions , acting strong , can't do drama ,can't show the pain going through and all those things which I will never know.

We don't want to go ahead of you, we want to fight along with you shoulder to shoulder, hand in hand not against you. We want to walk with you not ahead of you , we want to rule together , we fight for equality , not dominance .

We do this because quite a years ago , we couldn't vote , we couldn't speak what we want to and were deprived of basic rights of even education .

I can understand it's not your fault, you might have not even be existing at that time but somewhere someone has to pay for the past cruelty we faced , someone has to change it and the way we have so much in the time we will never stop until we get what we want.

I am not alien to the fact that some of the women use their rights to get benefited, use them against the innocents to get their way through and I truly am sorry for that.

How much ever be the changes but we can't deny the fact that even today somewhere a daughter is killed in her mother's womb , a sister is raped to the shame of the society, a daughter is beaten up for dowry, a mother stands on dark streets to feed her children even today we face it , the discrimination.

Just because my body is different from you and I am weaker than you physically doesn't me you can get through me , just because you have a penis and I don't doesn't means you can get your way , just because I bleed monthly and you don't doesn't mean I am weak. Oh boy, I am stronger than I seem and will shove your face to the floor if I need to.

Stop treating me like an object , it's time you realise , stop treating me like a fish bait or a loaf of meat I deserve better than that . One more thing you say you don't understand woman , how will you? when we ourselves don't.

Stop the shit orthodox thinking some of you have , stop being a sick loser thinking that having a dick will get what you want. Don't think if we keep quiet , we gave up. No boy , not yet we won't stop until we snatch away proudly what we deserve. We are able and strong enough to fight the battles we have but it would be a bit easier if you would stop being an obstacle and help us and mind you we won't stop even if we have to fight against you cause we are not meant to stop.

We will get our way any how. Thank you for the support you provide us time and again it means a lot and we appreciate it. You being by our sides is enough to make us stronger than we are. We love you too and the fight is not against you , it is against the mentality people have.
