So I haven't been posting a lot at all

But I thought I'd bring up a kinda old discussing pertaining​ to kaepernick and him taking a knee. recently I saw Justine Skye post a video of her on ig of her taking a knee. Personally I was kind of offended because I feel like she was doing it for attention. Mind u, this whole kap going started way before 2017. Is it just a trend to take a knee now? Where was the solidarity when kap got kicked out of the league and shunned? It just seems fishy

On lunch break the other day, my [20ish yr old, white] coworker heard me complaining about the majority of advertising using images of white people...even when it would be just as family-friendly or whatever-looking with PoC. She just HAS to say "Well, STUDIES have SHOWN that products advertising WHITE people, sell better....even if it's BLACK people buying it. People are just more attracted to it." (Smiles cute lil white girl "I'm proud of ME!" smile) My friend had to pull me outta the room before I could catch all the words swirling in my head. Luckily I don't work in the same room as this person...luckily her age group has no diversity...or unluckily, I can't tell.
